Yeah, he's going to take a couple years before he's game ready, but he has legit starter level upside. Pretty rare to get a QB who is big, accurate, athletic, has touch, without injury or off field concerns this late in the draft.

Fortunately the Eagles are one organization who will be willing to let him learn and have players ahead of him to take the pressure off until he's ready.

He's a 5th round pick that played 1 year as QB. We know Tanner is on his last year. Some may not believe in QB1 as much as they claim.

What you need to be worried about is the 2027 first round.

I love Hurts and I like the pick, would have loved Nussmeier. You can NEVER take enough shots at QB's and there is a world in which Hurts simply doesn't work in this offense.
