They have 12 OL from last year. All five starters and probably healthier than last year at this time. Of those 12, 8 played some last year. Two were PS (Pierce and Majors), two were IR most of the year (Hinton and Lampkin). All four of those play G plus Kendall. That is basically to replace Toth and Pryor.

I think it's the McVay offense.

And I think Cole's running ability is a plus, but not why they took him. He played in a pro-style offense. He's a dual threat in the true sense of the term, in that he can sit in the pocket, process and distribute. Or you can have him run QB draws. He's not a young Randall Cunningham where you draw up plays in the dirt and tell your athletic QB to make something happen. He will play within the offense, and his athleticism just gives you another dynamic.

Who knows if they smooth out his rough edges and he reaches his potential, but I see the vision. He was the guy I wanted at QB most in this draft adjusted for draft position.
