He was Apex on the play, lined up over the second guy in. The CB was well off but had the outside receiver. When the RB went to the flat and Baun went with him, that freed DeJean up. He went with the flow, read Mahomes and turned back inside. I think you were dead on.

True, because he did say the LB went with the RB, so that would have made him the inside defender with Apex responsibility. Usually in quarters, it’s the LB with apex, but yet again probably a wrinkle of Vic’s

Epps is not enough at safety unless the plan is to start Cooper at safety which isn't popular. You cannot rely on antoher rookie along with with Mukaba

Carter can play safety, my assumption is he’s going to fill in there this year over the slot

I think they want to try him in that position. Much of the position is recognizing what is going on and understanding his and everyone else’s responsibilities. I think it’s an open question about whether he can fill that role.

I am all for giving him a shot but its risky. Need to mitigate the risk unless they love the oregon safety

Eagles are "in” to extent Howie will call and ask.

Do you have inside sources to back up your descriptive claim?

LOL. That's maybe Howie's worst move of his most recent tenure with team. Dominoed into so many different issues. Again, my position is that this team was a dynasty waiting to happen. He needs to recalibrate this offseason to keep that possibility alive. Not saying he hasn't. Yet. Need much more.

I scoured the waiver wire at the end of last year and saw 4-5 kickers on the street that were better than Missy. The loyalty here to this guy is stupid at this point.

If we can get Josh Sweat, Mekhi Bechton, and CJGJ for under $30m cap hits on multi-year deals that would be fantastic.

What are their names? I will text them to Howie.

Didn't they extend him last year? Probably makes it hard

Joe Schmo and a bunch of other guys. Dicker the Kicker, a future hall of famer was our chance out. Nobody knew who he was either.

That is thr black cloud over the roster that is just hiding there. Being stuck with the worst kicker in the league.

No team wants CJGJ. There's obviously a locker room thing there because his play is decent even if not great. Good enough to have a home anyway

Saints, Eagles, Lions, Saints, Texans, Ravens, Bears all by age 28.

Another day of free agency, and another day that Howie does nothing. This off-season absolutely sucks.

I beg to differ. We signed Brayden Mann. Woot!

He re-signed one of our best players last season 😃

He's 5'10 185. Mukuba is 5'11 185. No chance they go with two smurfs as their starting safety tandem.
