Lions signed a former Eagles Super Bowl champion

The Falcons have announced that Bergeron has been signed to a contract extension.

ESPN reports that it’s a four-year, $96 million deal, with $60 million guaranteed at least for injury. (The full guarantees at signing weren’t specified.)

This is relevant to Tyler Steen since they are both 4th year guards. Would love to sign Steen to an extension but I doubt Howie wants to pay that kind of money. Still, when you look at the long-term OL depth chart Steen is important.

The HSCS (Hurts Supporters Combativeness Scale) indicates that Hurts is playing at about a 1 or a 2 right now. Hope it improves throughout camp.
