I honestly tried for that, but I guess Im not great at prompting AI. Was trying to keep the name calling and include ITYS even when he got to above average (his peak). But it always kept the name calling stuff to the low end of the scale.

This sounds absolutely horrible...

PHILADELPHIA − Jalen Hurts lined up under center during his first series in the Eagles team drills on Aug. 1 and looked to throw over the middle.

Linebacker Zack Baun reached up and deflected the pass at the line of scrimmage.

On the next play, Hurts again looked over the middle, only to have defensive tackle Jalen Carter bat the pass down.

This is supposed to be the crux of the Eagles offense under new coordinator Sean Mannion, with Hurts lining up more under center, throwing more over the middle, and working in more play-action passes.

And yet, Hurts seemed so frustrated when those two passes were batted down that he threw deep down the sideline on the next play ... to nobody in particular.

That's pretty much how it's gone for the Eagles' offense so far during the first three days of Eagles training camp. Is that cause for concern? Or is it a product of being early in training camp, with the offense going against what's looking again like a top-five defense in the NFL?

I have kept a very positive attitude about this season because we have seen the pinnacle of success even with Hurts at QB. So I believe that the defense will do its part, and have faith that Mannion's offense will do wonders to work just well enough even if the QB cant consistently drive the field. The defense will be a huge part in making sure we need a lower point total to win. I have faith....

I envision winning early with 17-20 points, and HOPE like hell that we can begin scoring 24-27 consistently by the end of the year.

But the beginning of this article worries me. And combine it with Mannion's comments this morning that rustled the bee hive... it sounds like more than just early struggles that will be ironed out.

Its a QB who is already quickly frustrated with his lack of success throwing over the middle, and reverting to old habits. And already an OC searching for what the QBs "comfort calls" are, and trying to figure out how he needs to simplify explanations for him.

Idiots will call me a troll for noticing that is right in front of our face, written by the media, and spoken by the coaches. But this is undeniably damning stuff.

It does not matter that it is a new offense, it does not matter that this is the first week of camp. Several things are already true.

1. This offense is going to throw over the middle of the field.

2. Jalen Hurts has always struggled with progression, and not telegraphing his target.

3. When you combine 1 and 2, it is a recipe for turnovers and hospital balls.

Is this a surprise to you? This is exactly why this offense won’t work with Hurts. Timing routes, throwing to open spots, and getting rid of the ball quick makes QB1 go cross-eyed.

Well guys, it would be cool if there was a story bigger than our franchise QB every year, but hes been a polarizing figure since he the very second he was drafted.

I know I repeat myself a ton, but it seems like every day of practice, and every week of games there is more to talk about even if it leads back to the same points. It would be awesome if those changed over time, but unfortunately they haven't. That is outside of any of our control. It would be very fun if we were all here gushing about how amazing Hurts has looked so far, how quickly he is picking it up, and how it seems like the perfect system for him and Mannion is amazing. Thats not happening. At least not yet.

Much more has been written about the offense overall rather than any individual player. Except for Hurts. Hurts' individual performance is tracked each day and his stats are posted daily. Tweets describe overthrows, underthrows, balls batted down etc. Its just natural that QB1 gets the most pub, the most air time, the most ink, the most magnification under the lense, and the most of our attention.

Its been this way almost constantly since McNabb (probably even before that but I wasnt around these parts till then). As good as he was, there were haters. He was loved, and bashed weekly including throughout the offseasons. By the same people. Over, and over.

Im not sure anyone is as interested in going on and on about Dickerson's press conference today. It was brought up. I weighed in on that topic too. People moved on.

Stowers was brought up. I weighed in on that. People moved on.

Our OC spoke. I provided my thoughts. Hardly anyone mentioned his PC or responded in any way conducive to a friendly discussion.

Yesterday I shared thoughts/concerns on the new OL scheme. Not many replies...

So we can all say I have repeated myself a ton, but Im not here killing discussions about other topics. Im active in those, and I am bringing other topics to the table as well. I doubt any of the complainers (about me) today have weighed in on as many OTHER topics in here as I have. Im contributing much more than just anti-Hurts content, and its up to you guys what you decide to hone in on. May I suggest actively contributing to the other discussions more rather than constantly challenging me on my Hurts takes. If the repetitiveness of the Hurts hamster wheel drives you insane quit choosing to run on it. Youll get about 10x less Hurts posts from me the multitudes of you stop actively engaging me in Hurts discussions all day every day. Im open to anything including more Hurts posts. Im not tired of critiquing him yet.

Tomorrow is a day off. Maybe a day for more Boxxy content. Or Angie Varona for old times sake. Im seeing that they are bringing myspace back. Whats old is new again.

They’ve had 3 practices? The fact that anyone can draw any type of conclusions at this point is beyond me. But the media is going to media I guess

Conclusions in what context?

Conclusions that the offense is doomed for the season? Im sure no one has done that.

Conclusions that it looks bad right now, and Hurts looks bad so far? Thats a day to day thing that is easy to conclude each day as it happens.

That’s incredible.

Same defense with the same coach and most of the same personnel. Very new offensive and OL scheme with different coaches. I'm not surprised the D is ahead.
