I like the timing but hate the circumstances around it

Bye is week 10. So we have the full schedule now.

I am not opposed to them having a bye week early.

Week 14 bye week and even that bye week is short because the Eagles then play the Seahawks on a Saturday.

I have no idea why people say the Eagles have the 7th easiest schedule. Outside of AZ I don't see a lot of easy games.

Weeks 3-7 I a gauntlet lite.

How to say you're a Negadelphian without using the word.

Here is a view using current SB odds. Yes Arizona is clearly an easy game. But so is Tennessee. The ease of schedule arises from the lack of clear, top-end competition. LA, Sea, SF, and Hou are the only top-12 teams on their schedule. None are in their division, so only four contests. Look at the teams above them on this chart and the number of top-12 games they play.

Dallas down through Carolina, the mid-section of the schedule, may be competitive games, but we should be favored in most of them.

Stand alone games in bold.

Zero reason they don't win 12 games this year.

They won 11 last season with the most incompetent offensive coaching staff this team has had in probably 30 years.

Expecting a regression from defense (they were phenomenal last year), but the expected improvement from offense (highly doubt it gets worse than last year unless hurts falls off a cliff) should provide balance to that.

The schedule is pretty favorable, not as easy as NE last year but definitely easier than our schedule last year.

That gauntlet at the end is going to suck unless the rest of the NFCE collapses. It's going to be hard to get separation to get a defacto Week 18 bye.

  • No mini-byes from playing on Thursday in the first half is less than ideal. But having two towards the end may be a better option.

  • Waiting for Warren Sharp to put together the game-by-game relative rest comparison.

  • Weeks 3-5 and 15-17 are the challenges.

  • There is an opportunity to get a strong hold of the division before the bye.

  • We get Daniels x2, Dart x2, Ward, Young, Brissett, Stroud, maybe Jones and maybe Rogers. A very manageable group of QBs

Cowboys schedule.

  • We have a much more favorable home/road setting - Dallas plays at Sea, LAR, Hou, and Indy.

  • Their bye is week 14.

  • They give up a home game to chase Lamar around in Rio. We get to play Pittsburgh at the Linc.

  • We get Carolina and Chicago. They get Tampa and Green Bay. Not sure ours is any more difficult.

W1 @ NY SNF

W2 vs Com

W3 Balt in Rio

W4 @ Houston

W5 v Bucs TNF

W6 @ Packers

W7 @ Eagles MNF

W8 v Az

W9 @ Ind

W10 V 49ers

W11 v TEN

W12 v Eag Tgiving

W13 @ Sea MNF

W14: Bye

W15 @ LA

W16 Jags SNF

W17 v NY

W18: @ Com

if our bye is week 10, that perfectly fine by me.

How to say you look for reasons to say Negadelphian while using the word. Nowhere in my post did I say they would have a bad season or not handle it, but that does not look like the 7th easiest schedule. DC and the Giants will be better and Dallas who knows. We'll be favorites in a lot of games, I expect them to do well, but still.

Bears, Rams, Jags, Panthers, Cowboys, Commanders and Giants will be tough games. Steelers who knows, Cowboys division game, Colts who knows, Cards easy, then brutal stretch of Hawks, TX, 49ers and Giants. Pats schedule last year was easy.

Yeah, we'll see what the Titans are this year, but it wouldn't shock me if they are better than last year as well. I'd say the first 9 games will be. They will need to have their crap together.

If Young is remotely competent like he was the back half of last year as they made their playoff push…week 3 - 9 is brutal. Then end the season basically playing the entire NFCW. At least when looking at these teams on paper based off what they were last year.

We had no answer for Dart last year. Daniel’s, healthy is a very good QB. The rest are pretty sus.

Winning in the NFL is always hard.

'Easiest' in the context of schedule strength is a relative term. Our schedule is 'easier' than about 3/4 of the league. The games themselves may not be easy. But analytics suggest that our opponents will be less difficult than the majority of the league.

6-3 or 5-4 before the BYE. 5-3 after the bye.

11-6 or 10-7 with that schedule.
