We don't know which is why I said if he's not going to be a drama baby sure. But if the options are headache QB, bad trade compensation, or cutting the QB I'm taking the trade

Those aren't the options sooooo

Can you name one actual name that has stated that? Or is it all unamed persons or anonymous sources?

It's not like I take notes on who said what but I heard it several times during his hissy fit.

This is true, though the chances of him giving money back is probably 0 percent. It is more likely he will agree to delay a $10 million roster bonus due around March 17 to increase the window in which he can be traded.

Maybe something like "I'll delay/negotiate my roster bonus if I get some say in where I'm traded to".

[not Chicago]

Everything is clearer with hindsight (or whatever the saying is).

So, in hindsight, if Wentz was your guy, why do you draft Hurts??

If Wentz is not your guy, why do you give him that contract/money??

Howie brought this mess to the Org.

"Hindsight is 20/20" is the saying.....20/20 is perfect vision.

Why would he do that? That is his only leverage to make the eagles trade him rather then hold him all summer. No way the eagles pay that bonus. So they will deal him by March 17 for the best offer.

It's called hedging your bet. But hey, I guess everything is easier black and white.

I would love Wentz to come in fight for the starting job and get it and prove he's the real deal but I'm a realist. But I guess you're right the other option is to keep Wentz around and deal with all the drama that could(will) cause. Sounds great for a new Coaching staff.

Oh my god, Wentz could end up the backup and would be unhappy! How terrible, of course that would be too much to ask for a dozen highly paid NFL trainers to handle, agreed.

There is only drama when the team is losing, winning will cure everything.

Regardless of QB do you see that happening? I don't

I can see it. There is still some real substance and pride on the roster, never would count these guys out.

A whole lot of yappening and not a lot of happening.

Nothing but...

It is interesting that despite all of this Wentz trade talk that there has been absolutely no Hurts trade reports or rumors.  Seems to me that if tea are calling that they aren't listening the same way they are with Wentz.  Or teams just know how bad the situation is between Wentz and the organization that they know that they are trading Wentz.

Agreed. They believe in Hurts. As they should if you ask me.

Just because because no one saw it doesn't mean he didn't have one and based on the "I want out" stance, I'm sure he had one.

I doubt they feel that they have to trade him.

If they don't get the offer they want, why wouldn't they just keep him? What's he going to do, not play?

Ah, so you know nothing and are guessing.

There is nothing in Carson Wentz history that would lead you to believe that he would not play if he was retained.
