I’ll be turning 60 years old in just over a month and my sister sent a family text a few days ago asking if anyone knew if our childhood home was still standing. I’ve thought about going back to see i

Sorry for the delay. Tough one. This has all the smell of a trap game. But I don’t think the Titans are good enough despite USA Today power ranking the cowpads and gints higher than the Birds. The IOL surprises folks with how good they play today. Saquon shows up. Ward under pressure all game. The secondary survives.

Eagles 31, fake oilers 13

Bonus: Darius Cooper reception

Bonus, Bonus: Hunt sack

Bonus, Bonus: TV pans to Amy Adams Strunk and BigEFly shoots her the bird and says something NSFW to her through the TV.

Looking forward to the D getting their first TO's today. Get a lead and put them away early. It is a good game to work out some kinks because they have quite a stretch of games coming up....

Trying out the new Oline configuration in this heat will be interesting. Hopefully there's not too many false starts

If it’s long term it makes even less sense to me.

The time we’ve seen Kendall on the field, he has been very good at C. G seemed pretty limited for me to have an opinion. The move makes sense to in theory get your 5 best OL left on the field in positions they can play.

I’m curious if their backup plan is to have Fred Johnson play guard and that’s what the reporters saw. I’m not saying it’s good backup plan. But I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why they had Fred Johnson lined up there.

Fred made the team as a G/T. The back up OL this week, Bell - swing T, Fred - G/T, Lampkin - C/G.

Ellie’s T-ball is canceled. Schmoopie made chili and all the pots and pans are cleaned.

All that’s left on my to do list is Sunday ticket.

I wouldn't be either but again all offseason and the draft and this is plan A vs getting a true guard? I'm not against it but it's surprising with the issue he had last year.

Forgetting the fact that Cam's body isn't trustworthy at this point either.

Morris inactive is interesting since they're down a guard but I guess that's why Fred Johnson worked out at guard during the week.

Traditionally two of the inactive slots are projects. This year, that’s Morris and Payton. Big Mo has promise, but needs to learn to keep his pads down.

I just kind of think the eagle believe Kendall is a much better center than he is a guard. Which makes sense cause he’s played there his entire career. I thought when they drafted him partially was due to they didn’t know what Jurgens was gonna be coming back from his issues with his back. Add on that if they needed to with Dickerson and his issues, they could always move Jurgens to guard and they feel like they would have a center that was capable of playing at a NFL level. Granted that was before they got Lampkin.

I don’t think people are gonna like to answer, but I believe the Eagles when they drafted Kendall thought he could be a NFL starting level center. And if Jurgens didn’t come back to what he was before the injury he’d be the replacement. But at the same time if Dickerson couldn’t either, then they could move Jurgen out to guard. And have a NFL caliber starting center in Kendall to replace Jurgens. I think the Eagles are higher on Jurgens playing guard than what people think.

It might not work out. That’s a different story. But I tend to think the Eagles believe the drop off from Jurgens to Kendall at guard is bigger than the drop off from Jurgens to Kendall at center

Plan is to replace one guy with a faulty body with another with a faulty spine. That's alright for now but what if he goes down? Then the line gets shuffled again. I wish they would have gotten a guard and made things easier. Especially, with how much chemistry matters on the OL.

No I get that but his body is one snap from being done as well.

I get that. But that’s also kind of why they cross train Kendall as well. And you also have for Johnson who’s cross trained. I think the reason they didn’t draft guys higher is because they had some guys they picked up last year that they liked. And they wanted to see how they developed. Whether that was the smart move or not is a different story plus I still think they like Morris.

However, I feel that’s exactly how we should be treating Caleb Williams and ANY QB who is a threat escape the pocket and make huge runs.

The only issue with that, is those other QB's can win from the pocket. It is very easy to defend Jalen Hurts by making him a QB only.

@mattwill

Eagles 29

Titans 19

Lemon with 100+ receiving yards.

That's great to have flexibility but they don't have real depth either. It reminds me of last year when they had to trade for Fred again vs just signing him. I'm good with plan A but again when they saw the writing on the wall with both their bodies get someone else while the young guys come along.

Unless they want to replace Jurgens.

Kind of just think they believe Jurgens can play center or guard at a starter level. Has G experience. Kendall when they drafted him can be a starting center too.

At least it's early enough in the season that if Jurgens goes down now then chemistry won't really be an issue when it matters

So they essentially don't have a backup guard on the roster. With the issues Dickerson had last year it's surprising this is plan A.

Lampkin and I bet Johnson could be considered.
