Yeah the only reason we haven't been riding Cam too much is because Landon was even worse. Unless Kendall totally falls on his face, I'm guessing they give Cam a chance to ride it out at guard and never look back.

I’m not as surprised. Actually said when Dickerson went on IR that their logic could be jurgens played guard when kelce was still here. so he’s used to it and they feel more confident with him at G as he has nfl experience at G and more time at g than Kendall. I’d guess sirianni and eagles feel like right now Jurgens or Kendall would be upgrades from what Dickerson was last week but the drop off from Jurgens at guard to Kendall was more significant than the drop off (if there is any who knows) from Jurgens to Kendall at center. Imo going up against Simmons may have also factored in

So they essentially don't have a backup guard on the roster. With the issues Dickerson had last year it's surprising this is plan A.

31- 10 Eagles/ Goedert gets two more TD tosses

Surprising move. But if you look at it objectively. Eagles just both upgraded both positions that have been killing them in the last year. Yes. There will be a period of adjustment in 2 positions for some short term pain. Jurgens tight end background should make this a good scheme fit on paper, with elite lateral mobile ability for the guard position.

I’m curious if their backup plan is to have Fred Johnson play guard and that’s what the reporters saw. I’m not saying it’s good backup plan. But I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s why they had Fred Johnson lined up there.

Morris inactive is interesting since they're down a guard but I guess that's why Fred Johnson worked out at guard during the week.

The lineup of Rich Eisen, Marshall Faulk, Kurt Warner, Michael Irvin and Steve Mariucci was the best of any pregame show out there. Now it's just a mess of people.
