They just have an enormous amount of their stars on rookie or expiring deals. "Players they need to extend” is an understatement. Stafford is a free agent so he immediately eats a huge portion of that. If Aaron Donald stays another year he immediately eats a huge portion of that. Puka needs an extension, Braden Fiske, Byron Young, Kobie Turner, their whole Oline minus their LT, Davante Adams is probably out the door at the end of this year,

They’re juggling a lot of balls to keep This all-in thing working, but they don’t have the core talent locked up for years the way Howie does. Not yet at least
