I think this is Cooper dejeans get right game, I think the running game carries the offense, and hurts does just enough to get the win. And this will be the recipe for success for the rest of the season

I'm recording the game. By the time I get home from church it should be somewhere in the 3rd quarter. Today is my wife's birthday so the kids and grandkids will be over. So I won't see the game live. I'll check the score and then decide if I want to watch it later or not.

I'll try to make sure everyone holds their posts until you are able to watch. Only then we'll we begin to discuss what we see on the field.

Just run the ball and punt. Throw once in a while on first down. Try to keep it close and steal it at the end. Absolutely doable if the Jags are flat and lay an egg.

1. Lane played 3 games before retirement. If he stays on the roster, does he get paid out for the season? (That may not change the cap hit, but I’m just curious if he gets paid).

2. I assume this is a mechanism to distribute the cap hit over more years and file the retirement after 2026?

My prediction for the week: this might actually be the week they find their screen game.

1. Our old OL (even in their prime, dominant form) was surprisingly inept at developing screens.

   Now we have an almost entirely new OL. And one that figures to surrender a LOT of pressure. And what’s the best tool to use that against a defense? Screens.

2. Barkley is not very good at receiving or setting up blockers on screens. Neither is Tank. What’s the one thing Shipley really excels at? Who is available today? Bingo.
