This is watching a different sport than the Eagles play. I’m so ready for this era of Eagles football to be over. The more football I watch the more I just hope this season bombs, they clean house with the coaching, load up on picks, get a new QB and start over.

Forget numbers, this is fun to watch. The Eagles suck and are boring. Worst combination.

Herbert hasn't made it to the Super Bowl yet

But they played head to head twice. You make your point worse by bringing up a SB MVP vs a guy who can’t win a playoff game.

Feels like scoring across the league is up compared to previous years.

Normally the first bunch of weeks defenses have the upper hand while offenses are still trying to get up to speed. Doesn't feel like that this year.

How about you all come back when Josh gets one of these

Eagles QB Jalen Hurts reflects on 'journey' to Super Bowl win, MVP award – Orange County Register

I like the guy and wouldn't mind it but stop bashing a guy who has done it vs someone who hasn't.

Completely missing the point. It’s not bashing someone to admit someone else is a better player. It doesn’t take away any of Hurts accomplishments or career. It’s like saying Eli Manning was better than Dan Marino. You Hurts huggers are so sensitive

Why ar the rams not calling timeout?

Nevermind i thought they were going to spike it and they called a play.

Scoring too early is a code NFL head coaches just cant seem to crack.

BUF left way too much time on the clock.

His NFL best TD to INT ratio in the postseason has nothing to do with the regular season. Try again.

Cute. I'm old enough to remember his four turnovers vs Denver last year. Scrambling and losing the ball gifting Denver a FG before the half. I also remember the overtime interception to McMillian. Hurts won his first NFCCG. Allen took a ton of sacks and played hero ball knocking them out of FG range instead of throwing the ball away in his first CG. So like I said he plays hero ball and makes mistakes in key moments. Sorry, but you can mock me all you want but reality is on my side. Stats don't matter when you do dumb crap in key spots. Great QB but that's why he's never been there and Hurts has.

As poorly as Hurts played, he still took the Eagles down the field and should have had another game winning drive on his résumé.

Since we’re on the topic, how come Hurts never beat Herbert?

I blame the defense

That was the kick we had to make yesterday.

Rams scored 51 4th quarter points in last 4 games. 34 in the last two.

This is why when everyone was like the Eagles defense have been playing well against them all game. Yeah but the Rams can catch fire super fast and we’ve seen it and your defense was down multiple starters. They did this against the Eagles. They did this against the Seahawks last year, who had the best defense. They can gonna a heater extremely fast

See. Kicking it short works.

Meh. They scored 17 points. All game. You are factually correct but they could have, like, scored more points too.

The spirit of Sean mcdermott lives strong within the bills defense.

Josh Allen is great in the playoffs. Let’s not make stuff up about other QBs because we are insecure in our own. The Bills defense lets them down every year.

Reality is that he's been outstanding in the playoffs. Some bad moments happened to Hurts, too. He's gotten blown out multiple times now. Or do those not count?

I don't love Hurts. When he's gone I think we'll miss what we had during this time. My post to Swoop says my point. It doesn't matter how good you are if you play hero ball and screw things up and cost your team. So define better? Better stats? Better regular season QB? Better throwing it? Absolutely. Better QB? Not if you want to win. If the Eagles are out I wouldn't mind him winning one to change that but until then he's not a better player. Better players get it done in the playoffs. Four turnovers to the Broncos last year cost them.

Its been a good run. Maybe this is the formula. Hire a new HC, someone nobody expected. Worked with Doug and Nick. Both guys had about a 5 year window and won a SB before being replaced.

I'd be more than fine with replacing the HC every 5 years if it meant a SB during their tenure.

I agree. Minus 2022 and 2024, this team is so difficult to watch. Wins and losses suck and no matter what, watching them just ends in frustration. They definitely need a complete rehaul to bring some exciting new and fresh football to the fans. Something to actually get excited about instead of the same old stagnant and boring BS.

Sure has, but he's been to two SBs and played like the MVP in both. Josh turned it over four times last year and cost his team. So you can toss the stats out as much as you want reality is that he plays hero ball like I said. I'd rather take Hurts than live by the sword and die by it.

So we're supposed to think that the Eagles have the best players at every position in the NFL?

Got it!

Yeah, four turnovers last year was absolutely great vs Denver. I'm making that up....oh wait I'm not. People start a debate and then don't like the answers.

When he's gone soon - make sure you follow him to the next team
