Tuesday at 04:00 AM5 days Clearly Hailee Steinfeld helps improve Josh Allen’s play whereas Madison beer has regressed Herberts…Boom dynamite analysisAdded analysis, Matt Stafford’s wife is now going to have to sleep with the backup Qb to motivate him and the kicking game
Tuesday at 04:02 AM5 days The good news is if Eagles ever get their act together in here they could have a shot in the playoffs depending on matchups. Hard to see the forest through the trees right now. But it can't be ruled out. Need 6-3 by the bye week to say they have truly turned the corner. 5-4 would be the minimum or forget it.

He needs to utilize that aspect of his game. If he can’t do that any more then it really levels the playing for opponents. Hurts is inconsistent as a passer. Can be great in moments and not good in others. So defenses will live with him having to beat them with his arm. Hurts himself and coaches need him to utilize his legs as it makes him and the offense more dynamic.I was also thinking this earlier today, I am surprised Josh Allen has been as durable as he is with how much he’s runs. I get he’s a bigger guy. But he has taken some shots as a runner and not missed much if any time due to injury or concussion.
Tuesday at 04:10 AM5 days I wish Hurts would still use his legs a little more.....that last drive is a good example of the extra stress it can place on D's.

He drove down twice in that game in the final 2 minutes for TDs. Kincaid dropped a pass in the 2024 AFCCG. This idea that he blows it in key spots is wholly untrue. He’s came up big plenty of times.Look at who you are talking to. They want to magnify Allen's mistakes and say that he loses them games, when as you've pointed out, his defense has let him down with multiple leads late in games. But these are the same dudes that said Hurts' fumble in the super bowl didn't contribute to the Eagles losing. It was the "defense" that blew it and Hurts had them in position to win. The hypocrisy is thick with this one lol. Not to mention Allen's weapons compared to Hurts is insanely lopsided. Could you imagine what Allen could've done with a 2K Saquon, AJ, and Devonta?

He is way down the list of causes the offenselooks bad though. Mistakes are different than making him the scapegoat.

I'm talking about their entire careers, not one game. That's obviously what I meant but you're trying to cherry pick situations to defend Hurts just like the rest of them. The truth is, for their entire careers, Hurts has had far better weapons around him than Allen and it isn't close. Sorry that hurt you so bad.

I get he’s a bigger guy. But he has taken some shots as a runner and not missed much if any time due to injury or concussion. Some players are more durable than others. As for Hurts, there's no doubt in my mind that he can still run as well as ever. QBs don't have to be speed burners when they run. They just need to be decisive. They also can't always slide. In Sunday's game, it was ultimately the decision to kick a returnable kick that proved to be the reason we lost a game we seemingly had wrapped up. But in a game that close, you can go back to any single play and say it was a key moment. On our very first offensive series, we were 3rd and 3 at the Jags' 39 and Hurts scrambles, hesitates, and then decides to commit to the run. The hesitation allowed defenders to close a bit and then instead of using his powerful legs to fight for the 1st down, he's content to run out of bounds holding the ball behind him over a yard short of the marker. This has been a team struggling all year to convert 3rd downs and coming off a pitiful showing on 3rd downs the week before. I expect more from him then that. He's really turning into Jim Everett as a player and the offense can't get on track. The decision was made worse when we tried and failed to convert the 4th down. The first down was there for the taking if he lowers his shoulder and uses his power as a runner. So either the coaching staff allows him to be a weapon as a runner again, or we might as well find a better QB to build the offense around. We need the Jalen that runs and passes --- not the one that gives up and waits for the defense to get him a new set of downs to squander.

You're right. What was I thinking? Such a gutsy performance to finally score some points in the second half of a game. Hurts really gutted it out getting us those 3 points

Allen has been winning with far worse players and team around him. Take Allen off the Bills and they probably don't sniff the playoffs. Take Hurts off the eagles and we are probably in much better shape. Super bowls are a team accomplishment. Hurts better than Dan Marino too?

Josh lives by the sword and dies by it just like the Phillies. So Josh is a better QB but he sinks his own ship too much like vs Denver with 4 turnovers last year.

Do you think throwing for 100 yards and barely scoring 20 points but having 0 turnovers is some kind of genius strategy that gets him to the super bowl so that he can unleash his true talent? Why doesn't he play all year long like he plays in the super bowl? Why can't he give us 75% in the regular season of what he does in the super bowl?
