Before we had any SBs almost everyone clamored for a big game QB like Hurts and now that we have him and have won with him, Eagles fans are tripping over themselves to just destroy him and run him out of town. For who, for what?

Its so stupid that he can't get credit for the legitimate things he brings to the table. He's turned himself into a legitimately good NFL QB, he clearly works his ass off, he's a great leader, he's never been in one iota of trouble off the field, always represents the team the right way.

That stuff matters for the QB. Maybe even as much as throwing rocket passes off your back foot. I truly believe that.

Consider that we've been through the McNabb era, the Carson Wentz era--two clearly more physically gifted QBs---but actually won the SB with Nick Foles and Jalen Hurts. There's a lesson in there, and I learned it with Wentz.

How does a QB perform on the biggest stages, in the biggest moments? That's what I want to see. That's how you win

I posted the QB ratings of both in the playoff. Hurts has a better QB rating in every round except the Wildcard round.

Those stats are worthless when you blow the game. I listed the rest of his resume like taking the sack in his first AFCCG, throwing the pick vs the Chiefs, etc you just have to scroll up. He blows it in key spots. That's my issue. I like him but that's his record.

He won the SB and proved me wrong outplaying Mahomes for a second time. A lot of QBs have had a lot more talent than him at the position over the years including here but he's a winner and deserves respect.
