If we don’t see a functional offense it doesn’t matter who’s here. I want to see McKee play to his strengths — stand in the pocket, get the ball out to his weapons, and see some consistency in putting drives together. Help out the OL by making quick decisions and be decisive with the football. Help the defense by sustaining more drives. Holding the ball too long will lead to bad outcomes.

If we see the same lack of second half offense we can start to question the scheme with more objectivity. The game on Sunday is like Schrodinger’s cat right now. The Eagles might score 0-3 points and be totally inept, we might see more consistency and score 24-27 points, or the likely in-between outcome. Hard to know at this moment.

McKee certainly has all the motivation in the world to show well and earn a contract somewhere next year. Whether he has the ability is the question.

Jeremiah Smith isn't going to go #1. If the #1 team doesn't take a QB, they will trade the pick to someone who does.

Yeah don’t see the titans moving out of top 3 and losing smith and currently they’re the worst team. If another bad team moves ahead and they are 2nd or 3 they are going to take him and have Tate and smith for Ward. So again you’d have to be top 3 to likely get him. Basically eagles would have to lose out or if they are 6-10 pay a boatload to move up which still means you’d have to find a team to trade with a leapfrog other teams. Super unlikely

Eagles placed Hurts on IR. Not great and I mean that for his well being and not the season. I hope it doesn't mean the clot situation got worse.

The coaching is horrific, sarkisian is awful and his receivers are terrible. He isn't playing outstanding by any means, but if he gets paired with a good coach when he gets to the NFL he'll be good. He has all the tools, if he were Mike Smith he'd be mentioned as a good mid round flyer as a QB wlth good traits but less than stellar production at a major school.

I would be over the moon if we canned Sirianni, found a real coach and got Arch in the 3rd or 4th (he'll never fall that far no matter how bad he plays)

Means the decision was made to anticoagulate. Doesn't confirm it, but makes sense. Standard for superficial clot is 45 days. If ultrasound looks the same then, he'd return to play. None of this means it has transitioned to DVT.

I will say idk whose decision it was but they're being much less idiotic with injuries this year than last. Last year they would've had smitty playing on that bum hammy to this day, they'd be pushing hunt out there, etc. Now we have an injury list a mile long but maybe when it gets shorter it'll stay shorter instead of guys being week to week and playing like dog crap all season

Makes me wonder if that's just going to be a situation where they play coy all season and act like "This might be the week he gets activated!" and they just never activate him and try to trade him at the deadline.

Good move to IR him. Can't do anything anyways for at least 4 weeks, so sit and rest him. Would be silly not to do that.

So why sign Jaydon Blue to the 53? Barkley is supposedly coming back next week, do we really need him and 3 jags on the main roster?

I really wouldn’t be surprised if they trade Barkley. I don’t think it happens next week. But it feels like they might try. his contract is what it is, but I could see a team trying to trade for him and now just keeping him healthy til they do.

I think it’s more they rather just give him extra time and seeing how his knee responses to 2 weeks of practice before activating him. but Kendall came back to practice so they can finally see what it looks like with Kendall and Lampkin out there. Also, I believe the Eagles have a point in time where they have to either take him off IR or he’s on there for the rest of the year.
