Team rallies despite injuries.

Bonus: Cooper 80 yards + 1TD

@mattwill

@vikas83 What’s the deal with Barkley’s contract?

Sportrac labels this offseason as a "potential out.”

If the team needs to rebuild and they can keep Mitchell and Dejean, it may make sense to take a bunch of cap hits on the chin in 2027 while just adding nothing in a repositioning year.

If the numbers check out, I wonder if he’d be a prime deadline target.

If Hurts has to miss the rest of the season then the Eagles should do the right thing and fully guarantee the final 2 years of his deal. Not just the morally right thing to do but would also send a good message to players all around the league about this organization.

Whaaaaaaaaaat

Kind of where my mind went too when they’d signed Milton

Let’s say McKee wins 3-4 straight games while looking above average to good (not a world beater). Hurts is ready to come back right after the bye. What do they do?

Let Tanner play. I don’t think Hurts plays again this year.

This has to be trolling. Most insane take I've ever read.

Well if the offense does look competent. That could mean that Hurts is the problem after all. But I'm definitely not expecting it.

Perhaps. Could be a combination of things going right too. But certainly possible.

They took him on a 8 hour flight to play a game and back on another 8 hour flight back knowing he had a blood clot the whole time. Not so much the playing but flying on a flight as long as that with a blood clot seems dumb as hell. Whatever their medical staff and organization landed on of odds of it getting worse obviously flopped. His career could be jeopardy. He has taken this team to 2 Super Bowls and won one. He now has a potentially career threatening condition as the result of playing for this team and then traveling for this team with that clot. If this turns into a situation where he has to go on blood thinners and miss the season then he will eventually go off of them and try to go back to playing again. If he gets another one or not we will see. But the Eagles understandably won't be wanting to extend him to a new deal until they find out, but it would still be the right thing to do in place of that by guaranteeing the final 2 years of his deal as both the Eagles and Jalen find out if that's going to be the case or not.

Don’t be ridiculous. There are cruise ships sailing out of there regularly.

Ummmm yeah, that explanation didn't help it become any less of a terrible take.

Hurts is the starter. We can debate it on here as much as we want. That isn't changing if he is healthy. McKee will go back to the bench.

If the eagles dont bring in Kaytron Allen, Joe Douglas should be fired. I know Howie would do it if he was acting on his own.

That's the RB we need behind this OL.

Don’t know much about him. Fill me in

He was decent at Penn State. He was cut by the Commanders and is now with the Dolphins. Not sure if he's on their active roster or practice squad.

Well darn. Hes on their 53.

I just saw the thread in IWTETG. Should have double checked their homework.

You don’t understand what he has. A superficial blood clot is not even remotely career threatening.

It registers at about the same level as an ankle sprain on the medical Richter scale.

They should really shut him down for about 2 years just to be nice.

They probably believe he'll be fine in a week or two, otherwise what's the harm in putting him on IR and bringing him back after the bye?
