Rumors online.  Spoiler alert (if true):

Don't read if you want to remain surprised and plan to see it.  If it's true, it will also be all over social media this weekend after it comes out.

This brings back the X-Men. Toward the end, Fury says "They're here."  He also said "This changes everything."  In a previous 15 second spot, titled "What Comes Next" fans think the "X" in Next stays on screen last after the other letters disappear.  This also says the villain opens up "another reality" and Monica in the new trailer says the villain "opened a hole in space."

The Ms. Marvel TV show already dealt with mutation and teased X-Men.  Monica apparently has the DNA that allowed her to gain powers when she went through the "hex" in Wandavision.  The linked articles below also say that the scores from 2 prior X-Men movies have been used in a trailer and are credited in The Marvels movie.

Spoiler

I can remember the Superman cameo in Black Adam. Not sure how that one worked out for DC 🤣

That spoiler stinks of desperation from Disney to bait some nerds of a certain type to go to a film that they wouldn't go otherwise,- add a percentage point on the box office to save some face for what looks to be a bad movie. Will spoiler the spoiler

Spoiler

You'll get X-men at long last and here is Beast for you to drool over for 30 seconds.  Gimme your $$$$$ nerds!

Anyone that trusts Disney not to do anything other than eff that up... I have a bridge to sell you.

The end credit scene has leaked on X and the talk was 100% correct but will spoiler it, so be warned if you look.

Spoiler

if you like more pointless Multiverse nonsense and primarily a CGI Beast from X-men, you'll love it.  It's 90 seconds or so long.

Ironically, Disney keep requesting X to delete it, but people keep sharing it.

Not clicking it to at least maybe enjoy seeing it.

My son really wants to see it, I think we're going opening night on Friday.  he liked the TV show Ms. Marvel, WandaVision and Captain Marvel movie, he's been excited by the trailers.

Good on him - I hope he has a lovely time; very genuinely.

They're trying to drum up excitement for The Marvels by saying you'll miss key things for the next content.

If it doesn't make enough money or gets bad reviews, Larson will blame white men again.

I was going to ask, is anyone watching Loki?  I only know one person that is (or admitting to), and they said it was ok; some good parts, some boring filler. A Disney+ sort of program

I’ve just kind of given up with it all. There’s been too much and this phase feels like a mess.

Yes, I've been watching.  It's better than other recent offerings.

I watched the first ep, but have not been inspired (yet) to watch any more.

I was waiting until all eps are done to watch.  My son loved Loki season 1.  We're going through other shows at the moment.  I thought Loki 1 was meh.  It was better for me the 2nd time around but still not great.  The trailer looked good enough for this but just haven't been excited about anything new (Marvel or not) lately.

Interesting. I've not felt the desire to watch Loki Season 2, but I've not seen any big complaints about it either - unlike other Disney stuff.  It's a shame as Hiddelstone can turn it on as an actor, so Loki should be a fun program to watch.

I am the senate

I saw Marvels. It is a movie that is shown in theaters. I have only seen 2 eps of Loki S2, mainly because I've had other interests to spend time on and never really thinking about or remembering that there are new eps. I'll probably consume all of Loki 2 this weekend to just clear the MCU plate.

i felt the 2nd season was much better. i am def going to re-watch it real soon.

I thought Loki S2 was entertaining and good for most of the season, with a fantastic finale. In comparison to other Marvel D+ shows, I think it’s one of the better projects.

Had no interest in seeing the Marvels, was going to wait until it’s on D+, but I’ve seen mostly positive reviews so I might go check it out in theaters.

It's wasn't very good IMO. No issue with the three leads though,  the plot and villian were just uninteresting. Some of the action sequences were kinda cool, and both post credit scenes are probably pretty important going forward.

Still working through the Marvel movies with my daughter - watched No Way Home again last night and it just reinforced my thought that while the movie was fun for nostalgic purposes, overall it was not great.  What an incredible series of dumb decisions that were made in order to shoehorn the multiverse and a bunch of characters from old movies into one bloated new movie.

I agree.  It was fun and entertaining and at the time finally a good movie after Endgame.  I HATED that Peter fought against Dr Strange, that was so dumb.  Also Peter while falling quickly figured out the mirror dimension, come on.  The conflict with Strange was completely unnecessary.  All they needed was a spell that went wrong by no one's fault, and while Strange was busy figuring out how to heal the cracks in the multi-verse and work out a way to undo it, the 3 Peters fight the villains.  Simple.  In the process, he could have still tried to cure/save them and have it go wrong and all that.

I also hated that he has to have everyone forget who he is at the end.  In fact they could have done something new where now that everyone knows Peter Parker is Spider-Man what are the ramifications of that.

I would go a step further and say that Strange was ridiculous to even entertain Peter's initial request just because his feelings were hurt.  Mr. Protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats is going to cast a dangerous spell simply because a high school kid is getting bullied on social media?  LOL no

I thought that at first too, then saw comments that made sense and upon rewatch I could see it this way a little.  In his first movie, Strange was going against the rules and learning spells deemed for advanced students, he ended up alerting the bad guys by accident.  He also went against the rules by giving the stone up to the enemy because he saw the future.  So he had a pattern of doing his own thing and not learning his lesson.  Wong advised him not to do it and he ignored the warning.  He was probably just confident that he could do it, and he said something about the kid has been through enough.  Strange also referenced how they used the spell once before so he thought he could do it just fine.

Now, it is dumb that Peter didn't first try to talk to the admissions counselor or literally anything else before a spell.  And it was dumb that Strange was allowing changes that would make the spell risky.  But I don't mind that because they needed a way for the multiverse characters to enter for nostalgia.  But it should have just been a spell gone wrong that they had to fix and leave it at that.

I thought John Krasinski looked a great Reed Richards in that Dr Strange film. Not sure Pedro is anything more than a popular name to be a figurehead on a franchise in crisis.
