I turned 38 today and have lost 52lbs since February. I’m very rarely ever proud of myself, but I’m feeling pretty proud today and thought I’d share. Carry on.

  • At this point, I’d like to see a former HC on the staff, but the biggest coaching news left is whether Stout stays.  BOOOOOOOOM

You think 37 is too high for Rousseau?  I think that's tremendous value for him.  Phillips concussions worry me a ton.

I just dont want him. Didnt like his testing at all

Better chance Phillips goes in the 3rd round than the top-15. Happens to prospects like him almost every year and yet people are still shocked when it happens.

The latest ITB podcast has some more stuff about Doug - worth listening to just hear the gossip.  But you will have to put up with a lot "when I was at ESPN", "in my time at ESPN" from one of the hosts. Bet you can't guess which one...

I'll give you a clue.  It's not Geoff Mosher.

Vera-Tucker succeeding at tackle would be a major outlier. He's a guard only prospect. It's absolutely a terrible use of resources at pick 12 for a team with so many long-term deficiencies.

If you actually read, I said I was okay with them picking Slater.

If you actually read, it was pretty clear I was talking about Slater and that teams should make that pick because he can play multiple positions.

catch a falling star. I would be completely comfortable with phillips in the 3rd. I think he makes it past the 2nd round though

Parsons is the one that will fall

Hope Parsons falls all the way to 32

He will fall, but no that far. This is not a Reuben Foster scenario. Parson has less character concerns, he is known for his work ethic, and he is not injury prone.

12 would be a fall for Parsons.  He's a top 10 talent.

He isn’t falling past 15

far too much talent , and ability to dominate

Only for a 3-4 defense, his coverage skills are questionable, his value is as a blitzing LB off the edge.

Yea, his testing was worrisome for sure.  Not sure what I don't like more.  The fact that he just isn't an elite athlete or the fact that he skipped the season, had all year to train for his Pro Day, and that's the best he could do.  Either he didn't take it serious or he just isn't that explosive.

With that being said, I think at 37 you have to consider him.  One thing's for sure, 6-7 265 lb guys with an 83'" wingspan who run 4.70 40s don't grow on trees.  I'll take 21 reps at 225 with that arm length.  The 30" vert and 9'7" broad jump are the numbers that are what concern me.

Just look at Texas DE Joseph Ossai.  He was 6-4 256 at his pro day with a 41.5" vertical and a 10' 11" broad jump.  Sheesh...maybe I need to look at more of his tape.

This is frankly an awful take.

CBs with his athleticism, tape, character and age are rare. He's clearly a top 15 prospect. The idea that you can't take him because he has less zone coverage experience is dumb. Jalen Ramsey isn't a fantastic zone corner...so the Jags/Rams didn't ask him to spot-drop.

For @ManuManu

Is Tommy Lawlor trying to prepare us for a Howie draft.  This would be it for sure.

Can't see us taking a S/LB in RD1.
Stokes definitely feels like a Howie pick.

I don't hate it, honestly. Could be worse.

Linebacker at 12 only to move him to safety.

CB with speed but not great tape.

Undersized 24 year old slot WR.

DL still recovering from a torn Achilles.

If those are our first 4 picks I can't begin to describe how depressing that would be.

I'm fine with JOK in a trade-down. I'm "fine" with Stokes if we go WR in RD1. I'm fine with an injured DL in RD4.

But yeah, the overall plan here is YIKES.

For anyone who cares.  Bengals new uniforms.  Gone are all of the horrible accent panels.  They are pretty boring but addition by subtraction.

Come on Eagles, we are due for a new look.  Doesn't even have to be a kelly green throwback.  Just a new look.  The midnight green/teal or whatever you want to call it is just so bleh.  I really like the shades of green that North Texas, Michigan State and Baylor use.

The article, in my opinion, reflects what the rest of us already know. We are pretty much clueless how the new staff and Howie are going to go..it is anybody's guess. I just wish we didn't trade back until draft day...I don't think the front 8 picks in any way are locked down.

I like JOK a lot but he's positionless and a tweener.  I just don't know where you play him.  I don't know a thing about the Eagles defensive coaches to have any sort of faith that they would get the best out of him.

If they go WR in Round 1, it's most likely Waddle or Smith.  Those 2 guys aren't setting any height/weight records.  I'd much rather get someone like Simi to compliment the lack of size they would bring.

Injured DL would be our 2nd 3rd round pick.  I'm not OK with that.  That's the pick you got for Carson Wentz.  No thank you.  That pick needs to be a player ready to make an impact.

Lawlor made it clear that 99% of mock drafts just recycle the same names so he was trying to go away from that but 100 times yuck.

I agree, I think we could have brought quite the haul on draft night.

It's not fair to expect any late 3rd rounder to be an impact player.

Using 2020 as an example, there was only one player after pick 80 in RD3 that was an immediate hit (Julian Blackmon). You could maybe argue Malik Harrison, Terrrell Burgess and Matt Peart. All were high-end backups.
