I think the trade back argument doesn’t make sense.

This is a medical question for the team doctors. He’s either a value pick 2nd rounder or a late round flier depending on what your docs say. No middle ground.

With that said, I get the argument of not taking an injury question mark. I would not have taken on that risk myself, but I’m not a surgeon. 

QBs are a totally different animal, especially high in the draft. I put QBs in their own category where the rules are different.

ACL's are nothing anymore.  On top of Davis and Gore, let's not forget Adrian Peterson came back from an ACL 9 months later and had a historic year rushing the ball. 

None of his injuries are recurring injuries.  Dude's had bad luck - okay.  So what?  He's an elite talent and we desperately need elite talent, especially on the offensive line. 

This is the kind of guy you take a chance on.  So was Sidney Jones, even.  Sometimes it pans out, sometimes it doesn't.  I don't mind taking a shot on a guy that could pay off huge.

All of these guys you're talking about are fit athletic freaks.  Dickerson is a 6-6 330 lb guy.  The amount of pressure on his knees just from his weight alone makes him a bigger risk.
