Corey Davis, Mike Evans, Sammy Watkins (would be playing if not hurt) are the other 3 WRs.

Only top 10 CBs to make the playoffs are Ramsey, Ward, Haden.

If you're campaigning for Surtain thinking he's gonna be a top 'playmaking' CB.  I'd venture to say down the line you're gonna be wrong.  He's gonna make his bread as a hybrid CB/S/LB in the NFL.  I think his upside is a #2 at the CB position.

It may not be so bad that we probably are gonna be horrible for the next 2-3 years. No one's stopping the Chiefs as long as Mahomes is healthy and Reid continues to coach.

I’d also argue not every cornerback class is the same. Top 10 in this class might not be in another. This is the dillard theory. He was a top 3 tackle in his class but the next year i don’t think he would’ve been one of the top 3 taken

Brutal for fisher to miss the SB. Reid had similar as chad Lewis got hurt in the championship game when he was with the eagles.

Mahomes is only 25 and QBs are playing into their 30s and 40s

I am curious what that team looks like without all of that talent though

Dude you’re missing the point. I’m talking about the position value in the top 10. The top WRs weren’t taken in the top 10. The top CBs were almost all taken in the top 10. 
 

We need to use our rare top 10 pick on a valuable position we can’t get later.

Wrong!  Ramsey and Gilmore are the only 2 good CBs in the league!

Chiefs are a quality drafting team & using picks to trade for veteran talent. Their best 2 players makers were found outside of first round. Of course how they have consistent success will be difficult, not denying that

You're missing the point, because you forget there are other CBs in the league not named Ramsey and Gilmore.  Outside of QB, top players at their position around the league are taken all over the draft.  There isn't a CB in this draft worth a top 10 pick.  Just because you take someone top 10 doesn't mean they'll be top at their position.
