I’m really hoping for Robert Rochell, with Tay Gowan as a compromise. We need an outside CB, and both those guys are great value in the 4th.

Jabril Cox could be a really really good player. I really like him and think he could really bring something to this defense.

I can't believe he's still available.

There must be good reason for it. He's bound to go fourth round though?

Medical issues with his shoulder. Just had off-season surgery. Must be enough to scare some people off.

I mean he could be a day one starter. You don't see many of those outside of RB on day 3. He would def start for us.

Should be highest on our radar then.

The injury issues with his shoulder must be scaring teams off. In the fourth round though I think his talent is worth the risk.

Guess he had shoulder surgery. But he's worth the risk of a round 4 pick.

Eh it's worth the risk in round 4. Barring injury he's a day one starter.

Lions have this next pick then they're done for the day.

Lots of RBs gonna go today. This is where teams draft them now. Round 4 and after.

Adding a young RB would be nice.

Should be some good guys in 5-6. Kylin Hill, Khalil Herbert, Jared Patterson, Chris Evans

I'm surprised we haven't made any moves. Do we really need 5 round 6-7 picks?

Could use them for an additional late 4th, early 5th or to move up to the tops of rounds. Their target must not be at high risk of going before their slot.

They're doing the Hall of Fame enshrinement tonight and not in August?

Posthumous nominees. Still have the living guys in August.

List of Injured guys.

All this shows is that even the healthiest guys get injured in the NFL.  A guy who's already had major injuries to both knees and both ankles before he ever makes it to the draft has shown that his connective tissue isn't strong.

Remember this quote:  "Hope is not a strategy when it comes to injuries."  That was Howie a couple of years ago, pointing out that when you bring in players that are injured, there's a higher risk they’ll get hurt again.

We spend a lot of time wringing our hands over the medical staff, wondering why our players seem to get injured more often than those of other teams.  Part of that is optics.  Every NFL team faces injuries.  But maybe part of it is that we don't make a point of drafting guys that have shown themselves to be durable.  Instead, our strategy seems to be guided by the thinking that a less durable guy who might be picked higher if he was healthy is somehow of greater value.  IMO that's a poor strategy.  A player has no value unless he can be relied upon to be on the field playing.

It’s some posthumous thing. I don’t think it’s a replacement for their inductions.

Oh ok. I guess since they didn't do it last year, they figure they can get some of it done early to save more time for speeches in August.

Yeah, looks like they made a trade. I guess they didn't want to go home just yet.
