If this forum is ready to go for the Draft I say we post here and not on that 'other' site.  Leave it an effing ghost town so the Eagles PR/marketing team can see what they're missing out on with most

Howie needs to stop the other 31 teams from participating in the draft!

Chase Young is likely the only "sure fire" prospect in the draft.

We're due to get a big storm here tonight, big winds and all. Where I live, power goes out if it even thinks about storming. Hopefully it won't though. <_<

Yeah I'd agree with that. If I'm Washington I take Young and figure QB out next year. If Haskins blows then they'll likely be picking high next year.

Jeudy has a good clean bill of health. Confirmed by his doctors and had no issues during physicals during combine. He will be fine.

After his surgery he had 68 catches for 1,315 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Id say hes ok

It’s not about his stats or health now, it’s about what could happen in the future.

I think Isaiah Simmons would disagree, since he's "sure fire" at more than one position.

Are you near D.C.? The redskins might have trouble getting their picks in on time. That'd be a shame.

Yeah he could likely be labeled "sure fire” as well.  But point is/was ... there are very few prospects that can be considered "sure fire” in every draft.

I'm about 3 and a half hours south of D.C., I basically live 5 or 10 minutes north of the North Carolina line.

I'm not disagreeing with you. There definitely are very few in most drafts. I just like Simmons' versatility, so that's why I threw him in there.

Got it. Maybe the weather will hit the Panthers instead. I just think somebody is going to go dark during this whole virtual process.

Did you hack him?

LOL, he showed his at home setup on ESPN yesterday

The only thing that makes sense is that the Eagles move up and take one of those three top receivers no matter what the cost.

No matter what the cost is the Redskins. This is the Eagles. They have standing room tickets that cost $55

If Chiasson falls to 21 he's the pick.  QB/CB* can't get high enough for Henderson/OT-^likely gone/DE.

That's where they want to place round 1 value on.

If somebody grabs the kid in front of them they trade out.

Exactly

Simmons might be falling tonight. Tweeners that don't fit the mold of a prototypical LB or S and can play both positions haven't had a ton of success in the NFL.

Is this going to be the thread during the draft tonight or will there be a new one?

Chances Patrick Queen gets to 21? If so, I think he'd make the biggest difference for the future of this team available.

I'd guess it's Jefferson, but I'm not sure that's what I'd do.

I don't see him as a tweener. To me he's a 6'04" 235 lb. LB'er with the speed and ability to play safety, CB, MLB, WLB, and stand up pass rusher. He's done all of them before successfully. If he fell to within reach, he's the only player i'd take ahead of a WR in the 1st. I don't think he will though.

Sounds like julian peterson

You might not, but a lot of NFL teams do. There were reports earlier today about him.

I have no doubt that was a ploy to drive Jeudy's stock down, probably put out by a team who wants to get him later in the 1st round. Did Howie put that out there?😆

That's a pretty good comp for Simmons, but Simmons is a lot faster.

I believe you, and I hope you're right, and he falls like a rock to the Eagles. I'd be happy if he did.
