An unvaccinated child (assuming he means those under 12 ineligible for vaccination) is at roughly the same risk of hospitalization of a fully vaccinated, but yet to be boosted 60 year old. Once boosted though, the comparison falls apart, as we've seen from the data provided by Israel. None of this changes anything with regards to the question of whether kids should wear masks in schools for now (they should) or whether they should get vaccinated when eligible (they should) or whether anyone who meets the 6-60 criteria should get boosted (they should.) These are all pretty well established points from what we know so far. If you're less than 60 but still want to reduce your risk of symptomatic disease? Yeah, go get a booster. Rogan's attempt to overstate the risk of vaccination while ignoring the associated risks of a covid infection is absolute horseshit, and completely undermines a somewhat valid point he had begun to make about risk tolerance. Rogan's as big of a hack as they come, which is why he readily admitted to the world he's a moron.
