The friend I cancelled with last night was just diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer. When I test negative for covid, I will try and see her next week before she starts chemo. I recently had an ultrasound that showed my liver is enlarged. I also have a Schatzki's ring in my esophagus. Going to do a liver function blood test next month. Now I have another doctor! This GI practice is so busy, they have yet to call me to schedule getting the endoscopy to fix the ring. So I eat less now and slower and have lost 5 lbs. I feel good even though I have cut my wine drinking down to almost nothing!!! I wish you all the best. Hope the test is negative so you can see your her.
October 29, 20214 yr Study suggests inexpensive antidepressant fluvoxamine could help treat COVID-19 https://www.cbsnews.com/news/fluvoxamine-covid-19-hospitalization/ Quote The pill, called fluvoxamine, would cost $4 for a course of COVID-19 treatment. By comparison, antibody IV treatments cost about $2,000 and Merck's experimental antiviral pill for COVID-19 is about $700 per course. Some experts predict various treatments eventually will be used in combination to fight the coronavirus. Researchers tested the antidepressant in nearly 1,500 Brazilians recently infected with coronavirus who were at risk of severe illness because of other health problems, such as diabetes. About half took the antidepressant at home for 10 days, the rest got dummy pills. They were tracked for four weeks to see who landed in the hospital or spent extended time in an emergency room when hospitals were full. In the group that took the drug, 11% needed hospitalization or an extended ER stay, compared to 16% of those on dummy pills. Not much data yet. I wonder why big pharma hasn't killed this? A cheap treatment drug? You know COVID is just a marketing scam, right?

They better make sure the whole family gets vaccinated. how entirely it’s what we’ve been telling you for Fing months but you don’t get it x 5

Oh sure, they aren’t mandatory if you’re ok with 277 Covid deaths per 100,000, 7th most in the nation. just shut up dude you have no idea what you’re talking about.

Most virologists claim that no vaccine is safe and effective. DID THE POLIO VACCINE REALLY ERADICATE POLIO? No, the polio vaccine was a Godsend. Last I read, there were some pockets in India, but otherwise by and large, gone. Smallpox was a scourge. Have you heard of anybody in the last 50 years who contracted smallpox? I haven't. Anybody can make a presentation. Open your eyes and look at what's around you.

October 29, 20214 yr I love it when EagleVA chimes in on this and Trumpbots panic and suddenly realize that their views align perfectly with the craziest people in the world.

Yes, disagreeing with his opinion and then calmly explaining why is certainly one of the major indicators of *checks notes* panic. 22 minutes ago, Procus said: No, the polio vaccine was a Godsend.
