Every comment democrats made that Republicans now bandy about was couched in skepticism that Trump himself earned, but always with the qualification that they would follow the science on them. Biden got vaccinated as soon as he could. And he did so very publicly to help encourage confidence in the vaccines.
August 5, 20214 yr At some point we have to stop worrying about case numbers and focus only on deaths and hospitalizations which unless I am wrong are way down in our area and other highly vaccinated places, cases are never going to be zero. We should not have restrictions on us because of unvaxxed fools

It's too early to tell if the ratio of cases to hospitalizations and deaths is better than earlier waves, but it seems promising so far.
