What is the availability of the vaccine in a rural place like Van Buren, MO?  It's a big difference if you can take the shot around the corner from where you get your morning coffee and newspaper. Or if you have to drive an hour to the big city pharmacy/clinic instead.

And from all indications that I've seen, the mutations have been occurring in areas that aren't heavily vaccinated.  Seems like we can all do our part by just getting the shot.

You realize that a vaccine is not intended to kill the virus right?  There’s nothing on the planet that will kill it.  It is here to stay.  Just like there’s nothing that will kill measles, mumps, polio, the flu, etc.  the vaccine is designed to protect you against contracting the virus (and helps make you less sick if you do).  It’s the entire reason for the development and existence of vaccines.

Let’s be clear here though.  This is going to an OSHA mandate, not a Biden personally issued branding.  The right wing nuts are going to twist it into that, be prepared.  
OSHA is going to give paid time off to go get the vaccine and cover any time missed due to any side effects.  I imagine there’s a good amount of people looking forward to that 2 week paid vacation.  Great incentive!

No.  Workmans comp is when you’re injured on the job..  What’s happening is osha is implementing an ETS (emergency temporary standard) which is the "rule” that they are implementing requiring vaccinations.   As part of the ETS they are requiring employers to provide paid time off for side effects, so that employees get their full wages, don’t use vacation or sick says, etc.  it has nothing to do with workmans comp.
