tankathon already updated their mock to show our pick. And the pick at 23 is now Kennedy Chandler. Who seems like Springer but actually some offensive skill. We should have just waited a year and picked this guy instead of Springer...

I hope the Grizzlies take Chandler at 22 because I doubt they can afford Tyus Jones. He is more of a lead guard where Springer was, well really not sure what he was.

Looking at tankathon’s mock if Wendell moore, jalen Williams, Terry and mcgowens are all on the board that’s a pretty good selection to choose from. I’d be pretty happy with any of those 4. I like beauchamp but i think he’s not a good fit here with doc. If he goes to Miami I’m willing to bet he becomes at worse a very good role/fringe starter.

when they're winning & on a roll, he acts like an insufferable ****...much like antoine walker did back in his celtics days. just really, really cocky.

 Yeah, like most players. I'd argue Embiid is way worse and he has won nothing.

If Sixers take another project then Morey is a buffoon. Are a few guys that should fit into the roster and make an impact this year.

Wendall Moore, EJ Liddell, Andrew Nembhard, Walker Kessler, or Ochai Agbaji who probably is the dream fit for the Sixers.

Looks like McGowens has fallen out the first for new mocks. I'm personally not a fan either.

I’m just rooting for Draymond Green to hit someone in green in the nuts.

Frankly i don’t think the sixers are keeping whoever they pick. I think they’ll draft for whomever they are making a deal with. They can trade the kid from what I’ve heard in multiple podcast a month after they select whoever. So I’m guessing that draft pick doesn’t ever play for the sixers.

We don't want Moore. He's got a little game but disappears for long stretches, important stretches. The only players from this last Duke team that I'd take in the first or 2nd round would be Banchero, Griffin, and maybe Mark Williams.

heard Glen is taking summer classes to fine tune his doctorate

yep. I want McGowens, but 99.99% chance this pick gets packaged in a trade with Thybulle and/or Harris.

Was reading some league exec said the 6ers will likely look to package Danny Green's contract with Thybulle in a trade. The suggestion was for Beasley.

I like that, but we would still need some 3s and 4s who can play.

Beasley has off the court issues but at this point he actually would help the sixers in a position they need badly. I’d take the risk even with his baggage. I’d do that deal. Imo sucks to trade whoever is taken at 23 cause i actually think where they are picking this year there’s gonna be a better pool of prospects than where they were last year

There is no chance Doc plays a rookie anyway, so might as well trade the pick.

I feel it’s likely going to be put with Harris to get Harris off the books with thybulle.

I will disagree. They all had a role to play for that team and individual games suffered at Duke. While Moore isn't great at anything, he is really good at a lot of things. Exactly what you want as a role guy.

I mean you showed your hand by saying maybe Mark Williams. Williams is going to be a really good player in the league for the next 10 years and might be a sneak his way into the lottery. He has a soft shooting touch, decent FT shooter for his size, above average defender who won't get destroyed on switches, has a standing reach of 9'9" and a wingspan of 7'6". He will have a better career than Griffin.

Showed my hand?  Williams’ development was something to behold, but he still got manhandled by stronger bigs. Maybe he gets strong enough to handle it in the NBA, maybe he doesn’t. Maybe. And spending a 1st or 2nd round pick on a guy who, on occasion, is really good at a lot of things, but disappears for long stretches is too risky, and I would hope the 6ers wouldn’t take the chance, but you do you.

Yeah you said you maybe take Mark in the 1st or 2nd round.

Williams weighed in at 242 for the combine at 20 years old, kid will fill out and has a standing reach higher than Gobert. He will play in the league based off being an elite shot blocker, but he also has a solid shooting stroke. Mark will be a much better pro than he was in college. He makes it to the Hornets and they are solidly in the playoffs because he does everything they need.

Who do you think is drafted in the 20s and 2nd round? Guys that are amazing prospects that can do everything or guys that have flaws or all potential. Moore is a good basketball player that can start if needed or be a great role player. Not every dude needs to be a superstar or star. Fill a role in the team that can help. Moore is that with the Sixers. He can guard multiple positions, shoot the 3, handle the ball when needed, and rebounds well.
