He and Mathurin have a killer mentality. And they are going to get in your face and let you know about it. Terry wasn’t like that as a freshman. Was told that Portland’s new assistant GM absolutely Schmitz loves dalen Terry. At 7 picking too high to take him there. Plus get get Dort and 12. Maybe that’s a reason. 

3 year deal seems just right for harden. now if they can only turn green/thybulle/milton/kork/pick 23 into something useful.

Another new mock by this channel. Board breaks pretty rough for us and most of the guys we have discussed being high on are gone. We draft Beauchamp, which seems ok at pick 23. But again, Braun goes 1 pick later. And when you listen to the guy talk about Braun you have to think- why not Philly?

For a team in search of dogs, hes a "borderline a-hole" on the court. Great perimeter defender on the wing. And shoots 3 40%. What more can you want in a danny green or Thybulle replacement?

I would be ok with Braun for the things you said. However i don’t think the ceiling is super high beyond just being a solid rotation guy. It would be a nice pick at 23 for what we need.

 If it came down to Braun or Terry, I’d take Terry. Terry can guard positions 1-4 with his length which is a 7’2 wing span. Still very young (still 19) and is going to fill out his body more. He also has the same dog attitude. But i like that Terry has played point and done it at a high level when Arizona lost their point guard and the offense really didn’t miss a beat. They actually took it to ucla with him starting at point guard and playing it majority for Arizona. So you could potentially get a starter level player who can also give you mins at PG.

One of the Arizona coaches who was a former nba player development coach believed if he stayed another year he’d be a lock for a lottery pick in 2023 and think he has the ability to be an iguodala type player. That said i don’t think Terry is on the board at 23. I think he goes top 20. Apparently a lot of GMs love his attitude and personality. He’s interviewed extremely well.

I agree the upside isn't there for Braun but he's almost an immediate Danny Green level player. Solid starter for years.
