If we fail this year i really hope Cassell is made the next coach. I really think he’s going to be a stud.

I despise guys calling other guys studs lol. That being said I think he could be a great coach lol.

I usually don’t say it often without proof. But I’ve liked Cassell for a while. I probably shouldn’t have said stud but i think he can be a good coach. I thought he was a smart player and clutch when he was in the league. He seems like he also has an ability to connect with players now.

6ers finished Utah summer league 2-1. Luckily OKC didnt play Chet Holmgren and Philly eeked out a 1 point win.

Not sure if this is happening, but

I’ve wanted Marcus for a while. He’s the better of the two. But I’d take markieff if he’s healthy. Solid bench guy with some attitude

They both bring toughness and are excellent role players. I believe Marcus is the bro that shoots better than the other correct? Both can knock them down from range though.

Marcus is the better shooter. Frankly overall a better player. He gets more mins and is a solid starter. Markieff is the better rebounder but more of a bench player.

I remember being bummed that the Lakers didn't get the better of the 2 but markeiff ended up being a hell of a piece off the bench.

He’d be a nice boost for the sixers bench. Allows you not to play tucker as much in the regular season so can keep him fresher for playoffs. Not sure how he’s doing with his neck injury though. Jokic went after him and he hurt his neck and didn’t play most of the year

Here's the Tweet

Theres been opportunities, I think even on the buyout market iirc? Just seems like no interest from  Philly. He hasnt played for the rockets yet has he?

Maybe Rockets this year, then he can have our max contract next year.

So a 2 year $64 million deal?

Think he would have been a decent signing

Sets up well for the sixers. He opts out in year 2 means he had to have played really well and not like this past year. The down side he likely gets a longer extension then and more money cause of that. If he doesn’t and he opts in then you can use Harris and harden as expiring contracts or at worse end of 23-24 season they’d have Harris and harden coming off the books at somewhere around $70 mil

I think there is a path where he opts out, intent on signing again. If he is willing to take less again to allow the team to maneuver.

He opts out, you trade Harris and have a max contract slot. Sign LeBron for a year, and re-sign Harden again with whats left.

Would this be LeBron killing a year waiting for his son’s draft eligibility?
