So the Magic might be a problem pretty soon especially if Fultz can be that lead guard they needs after Suggs just now getting hurt. This move is nasty.

i dont understand the doc lovers on twitter sometimes like they are comparing him to torts for the flyers when doc says they are not ready to win like you dont say that during the season, you usually say stuff like during the offseason and plus you have to hold accountbility to the players which doc never does, he plays his favorites which that causes locker room problems.

he's got to go.

Quote

"We’re not ready yet,” said coach Doc Rivers. "Honestly, we’re just not. We’re not ready to win yet. You can feel that, and so we got a lot of work to do. It’s almost like we played these first two games hard, competed and then felt like ‘OK, now we can win some games,’ you still gotta go out and earn the game.”

PJ Tucker, Philadelphia’s prized free agent addition, was yelling that message in the locker room. Considering everything he has been through during his career, he has expertise in this area.

"Tuck was yelling that after the game,” Rivers added. "He’s right. No one’s just gonna give you a win. You have to go get it, and you have to do it a lot every night. You can’t just pick and choose when we’re gonna show up right now and that’s what we’re doing.”

This team, lead by a young Simmons and Embiid, constantly had letdown games because they thought they were so good and they could just coast. And only play hard against good teams.

This team, after Simmons is gone, lead by Embiid, continues to have these letdowns every year.

Embiid is not a leader. He has so much talent. But he will never have the heart to win a championship.

Rivers is a clown. Fire his ass

Jazz won't be together much longer. If they like Beasely they better move fast

I understand the need for toughness. But Ive questioned the roster construction a few times. I think we got guys who are all toughness, and little talent.

The bench has been beyond useless in these 3 games.

I do expect them to improve still. To what extent, not sure. Not sure theyre capable of much.

I think this team would be much "tougher" to beat with talented scorers guys like Clarkson, and Beasley scoring buckets off our bench. Who consistently do it every night. Rather than the likes of slow PJ Tucker, 10 day contract House who got our full BAE.. and Josh Richardson pt 2. None of whom can contribute any points. Which are needed to win basketball games.

Also, Haliburton has been awesome. Haliburton and Hield would have been amazing.

Murray has been incredible for Atlanta.

If we had any of those deals instead of Harden, we wouldnt be as slow on the court. And the team would have amazing young talent with those guys and Maxey. Instead, we are slow, AND old.

After making the wrong trades, they compounded their errors  by going overboard with the toughness overcorrection in free agency.

The coach is also the issue.

Yup

We have talent but no real plan

Unfortunately, no real talent in the position that is matters most, on the wings

I took Pacers +12.5 tonight and will bet against the Sixers until they prove otherwise

Maxey and Murray would have been fun to watch and Murray could have covered a lot of deficiencies on the defensive end. Haliburton is just really Fing good. High on both of those guys.

Haliburton and Mathurin will show out tonight

3 games in & the sixers are already no fun to watch.

I have tickets to the Phoenix game in like 2 weeks.

Feels like 6ers aren't going to be ready for that one.

I thought it was going to be great.

Yep.  But they added toughness and talent to the bench.  Can’t ya tell?

Embiid is not in shape. Dude is absolutely pouring sweat 5 minutes into the game.

So tough!! Rivers absolutely sucks as a coach no doubt but, I don't see a different result with the players they have.

They won. yay!

2 thoughts.

I hate Harrell with 11 minutes and Reed with 9. Harrell can be much more effective with all 20 of those minutes. And hes a better player than Reed.

I hardly care what happens with the team overall at this point. Its pretty clear theyre headed for another 4 seed, 2nd round exit. I just want to see Maxey continue his development and Im frustrated by his major drop in efficiency. I want to see him bust out of his slump. He is the most exciting thing we have to watch with this team, and right now in his slump he is not delivering excitement. I want to see him bust out of this slump right away.

Simmons being a dummy and love Ja waving him goodbye
