Even the top two you have Alabama and Ohio St. not QB factories for the NFL. Both vaulted by top WRs. We’ll see how they grow without those guys.

Huge leap after the top two….to whomever you are championing at this point. Rattler benched for a Freshman and disgraced and run out of town to the sound of boos hardly gets me excited about him.

What was your feeling on Joe Burrow leading into his final year of college ball?  Mahomes? Josh Allen?

https://www.philadelphiaeagles.com/team/coaches-roster/jonathan-gannon    Once again a guy that's BEST "dept" is defensive backs and not many tools for him to work with(like Schwartz). Although he can probably get the best out of what little we give him

LOL no there will be more than the top 2 to work with. Alot better class than this one was. who TF cares about booing college kids???? I don't ignore a player on that. Hurts should be booed out of Philly if that's the best you got

Ham.... " I question Siri and Gannon"   then Ham " Gannon is leaving this year"

??????   Why the extremes?   I think any time you have a coordinator... you should have a possibility that they guy will be interviewed for a head coaching job.   But in the same thought..to both question his ability as a coordinator and think he will be highly sought after doesn't make sense?

Yet I question Gannon big time. Thought he ran some vanilla stuff that was getting us killed. He came here highly touted and thought of though. Had HC interviews that many reports were he showed well in. I’m not going to totally rip a guy building a brand new D over his first six games. Takes time to get things going and even adjust. It was pathetic. Not ideal personnel for him I’d admit. Felt like we were already one step from losing him this offseason. So expecting it to turn up a notch after year two is just the obvious conclusion.

Gee wonder who the top ranked WR will be next year? Oh yea the OSU kid

We didn't have the player talent for him to do much else? I'm glad we got him something to work with finally

I absolutely think both happened with our coaches. They had struggles where they looked way out of their depth but also adjustments that gave Hope.

I'm not booing anyone... but I was thinking.    Looking at Eagles history at the skill positions.   How many seasons would you take that skill position group over this 2022 one?

This is an absolute great hand Hurts has been dealt.   Really he should easily be pro bowl without any " alternate" label.

That LSU team was completely loaded. Mahomes I didn’t pay much attention to.

IDK,we didn't have the usual dominant pass rush. We get burned deep because we don't have the players in the secondary(Gannons strength as a coach)

Ham keeps harping on a bad game he had as a reason to just write him off, like Hurts never had a bad game. The double standards are astounding lol. Even Arod had bad games. BTW the game he was booed at he came back and WON,so yeah lets base drafts on college boo decible levels-smart

Yeah... I think Detroit, Jets,...Giants,  Washington and Saints with 3rd string QBs happened as well.   Shouldn't overlook that.

I have no clue if we will like Rattler next year. WAY to early to know, but I'm not writin off ANYONE based on college boo's

Yeah...but to my question...how many Eagles skill groups would you take over this one?     I mean, you can add in the very good OL....and if you think Sanders is an elite talent... man,if you are a Hurts fan,you gotta be thinking he breaks some franchise records this year pretty easily... and not QB rushing stuff either.

Is any team set up better for a QB and a RB right now?

How many teams have as good of an OL as the Eagles?

How many WR groups are as good as the Eagles?

How many teams have a TE as good as the Eagles?

How many teams fit all 3 or even just 2 of those categories?

This draft really helped the talent level,if they play at that talent level. I was sad/mad we ignored the secondary. Glad we FINALLY addressed LB's. Think we went a bit overboard at the expense of the DB's. Some think we can add King, not standout but certainly a guy who can make the secondary better. I guess we all said not doing it in 1 draft. After Riddick and White I figured secondary was a shoe in to address, but after hearing the ideas of changing up the D scheme it would make sense to get those guys in here

Dude...you are absolutely brutal with following the conversation and helping your point with Hurts.  Keep focusing on whoever Ratler is and some 5th round DBs.

You want to make your point with Ham as far as Hurts....just focus on what he has around him compared to the rest of the current league and the rest of Eagles history.  Stop getting sidetracked... and stay on your point with Hurts.

One of my arguments. Ok so we didn't DRAFT a top WR,but we GOT one and this makes the team more enticing for a QB. So even if we miss or don't want to draft a QB,it should draw some interest from any FA QB's. IDK I think with this offense, even I could look ok LOL.It's SHOW time. Maybe we lose games 35-32. Thats fine because then I know we have the offense and only need to shore things up for a run. if I am going to lose games I want to see the points scored, not win games 6-3. Although a win is a win, putting up 32 a game means I have the offense I need

When you say 5-2... where is it different than 3-4?

My guess is he is thinking more of a larger set

interior of Cox Davis Hargrave

edge rushers Sweat/Graham

Not really much of a difference from a 34.

Though do believe the biggest difference would be in a 5-2 front generally all 5 DL rush the QB vs a 34 where the disguise of 5 guys is there but still generally only rush 4

Where do you put Riddick in this formation?

LOL Joe,no I was simply pointing out there are more than 2 available QB's next draft. I posted an article about who to keep your eyes on. And pointing out 1/2 a college game where he was booed will not deter me from looking at him

Which is irrelevant now... first point is that Hurts should play at a very high level....record breaking in some aspects.   He has been dealt a phenomenal hand.  That's what matters now.   We don't have to worry about any QBs next year until we know the one this year isn't the guy.

The draft trade with the Saints was good under any circumstances,  not just for getting a QB next year.

Sure, Ham brought up Rattler because I posted next years QB draft class and said previously "if we pick around 21 Rattler should be right there",so he needed to take a jab at me LOL and he wants to write him off based on 1/2 game of college boo's. I'm hoping we are smarter than that

So would you say ....maybe 2004 or 2017 had better skill groups?

Idk... 2004 ...T.O and Westbrook were absolutely STUDS!  But after that...meh.  Pinkston, Freddie Mitchell? Chad Lewis was ok.

2017... my favorite group as a whole..  but I'd take Brown over Alshon, take the younger Smith.. Agholor vs Quez...take Paschal over Hollins.  TE you can argue Goedert does more than all of them.   The RBs was a committee..but  some on here for years talk about preferring the one stud... and some think Sanders has elite talent.

You could argue the track teams of Shady, DeSean and Maclin...but OL and TE isn't as good, team was not physical at all.

I mean... this is pretty ideal for a QB to really light up the scoreboard.  No excuse really.
