That’s how we watch the races. Call your horse and root for him to succeed.

Calling it at home is not calling it here where we can verify it LOL

It’s not just running. Much more our QB1 brings to the table than his elite rushing ability. But also you should take notice what it takes to get a pass off and run different plays in The League. Is mobility always a rush….or do you need to move around the pocket….some plays call for a rollout.

Idk... Brady is 45... is he mobile?

Btw...that's what I saw in Strong's videos.. his mechanics with his footwork... he moves without giving up his throwing base. The proper shuffling of the feet, very efficient.  You see that on his plays where he moves around to make the throws.  The shuffle left is excellent... and still keeps the body in position to throw the ball the entire time he shuffles.   He is able to get the ball out quickly on those plays without having to reestablish a throwing base.

He doesn't panic and move out of the pocket, throws the ball on time.    What I think could easily be a problem for him in the NFL.... plays where the first 2 reads are covered,  how fast can he adjust.   This is Foles issue too and a lot of backup QBs who occasionally have a monster game because every play call worked that day.   That doesn't sustain.  But that cones with time..need to start with the basics of being able to male the throws to the first 2 reads ...then build from there.

Already coming in ahead of " QB1" in that aspect.  " QB1" can run though.

We will see what happens with these guys this year.    Whatever happens,  I'd love to see NFL level passing...not beating bad teams by running 40 times and then looking awful vs every decent team we play.

Hmmmm…..grow and learn…get used the NFL play speed. Hopefully our young QB can do these things.

Who Strong?   I agree....the current starter needs to learn how to throw as well.

In 1984...I called it. I said Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Chris Mullen and the USA basketball team was going to win the gold medal.  11 years old and I was already calling winners baby!

Laughable to say he’s ahead of Hurts here. Agenda….much?

These are normal learning curves for all young QBs. Even many older QBs make mistakes. Funny how a certain fan or three would rather bury a guy in his first season starting than consider these factors. I’m on the side of any guy that loves football puts in the work in every way will grow and improve. Hope our young QB can.

I was rooting for Mike to hit the game winning shot in the championship back in college. Ewing not so much. Chris Mullen? Didn’t really know anybody that was a big fan of him.

Yeah... he is a better passer. So if the play call is there on reads one and two.  He can make the throw.  That is ahead of Hurts in that aspect.   It's laughable anyone would argue this.

No Mas, your guy has a big arm yet:

Wentz and the Colts needed only to beat the 2-14 Jaguars, one of the worst teams in football, on the final day of the season to reach the playoffs, but they fell behind 26-3 before losing 26-11. Wentz threw for just 185 yards and had two costly turnovers. It was the Jaguars’ biggest win over a team with a winning record in more than four years.

Won a game vs a good team though….but couldn’t beat the worst in the big moment that meant everything. 11 points.

I'm not worried about Hurts making complicated reads...that's the other guys on here.  For me...Hurts can’t see the field and make the throws at the NFL level.  He needs that basic skull to improve drastically on top of the mental aspect of the chess game with the DC.  Throw the ball...not run.

Eagles...let's focus on the Eagles.    2022... nobody matters but Hurts.    Ziggy Anzah and the rest of the world are irrelevant now.

Every time it comes down to Hurts can’t throw the ball... that's when the subject changes.  Even when it's a positive about a teammate ..an Eagle...  his stans get their panties in a bunch.   " their is more to being a QB"  no F@##ing kidding... you still need to be able to throw first.    Accurately, on time, and with some zip.

It's not just " big arm"  it's the fact Hurts is also inaccurate.

I saw those odds before the race but was too lazy to get on line to make a bet

Stafford isn't exactly mobile either

Are you comparing the two in college play? Strong’s first day of mini camp vs Hurts facing the defending SB Champs in a road playoff game? How are you judging what?

I don’t think the only answer is throw. Think he’s great at a mix that complicates things for the defense.

No excuses now. ..Paschal is WR #4... not #2 Luke he was for his QB last year.   Best receiving weapons in the division... outside of Tampa,Cincy and the AFC West... probably best in the league... Miami and Buffalo is a conversation.

Look at those teams OLs...  who are as good as ours?   No excuses.  This should be a top scoring offense.  Not rushing yards...not 3rd down conversion...not " explosive plays "   points...  POINTS.    That's what matters.

Was the guy you championed over our QB1 that beat him out if the job. Just pointing out that clearly many more factors to being QB1 than strong arm.

LOL,but when your 2nd read (the one Hurts doesn't see) is wide open and waving his arms, that is unforgivable as a QB

I'm judging the fact that I haven't seen Hurts throw accurately.

Oh boy, here we go again LOL. with the WR's we have NOW provided(you know the top ones Wentz did not have) the time for talk and "getting along" is over. Time to put up the points. How good did Wentz do in 2017? Hurts is not even close to that yet(and may never be). I don't hate Hurts, but this is the year to put up or shut up

Happens about every game. No QB makes the perfect right decision every time. One with Quez Siri even discussed. How Hurts went through the reads according to plan. There is a whole way everything works. Owner, GM, Coach, player, trainer….offensive minds want things done their way. If this happens look to this as the first read…and so on. Hurts went through reads plenty. Starts before the snap first. Then adjust to how the D actually plays it. Then how the offensive player plays that actual play.

Sorry,to make the throws you have to SEE the throws, see a WR breaking free and get the ball in the air. IDK that he sees diddly after read 1. If he plans on staying here as QB1, he needs to progress beyond 1 read and I hope to H that is not the plan. He should go through 3 reads in 3 secs and get the ball away. Noone is asking for perfection. We all understand QB's make mistakes, but you gotta see the people on your team
