Then adjust to how the D actually plays it.

This is what is taking too much TIME for him.he runs before anything else. Remember early on when he held the ball for 6 seconds?.We had no running game because the O line had to pass pro. he has 4 secs max to make 3 reads and make the throw(and I am being generous)

Now I will agree that I’d like to see Hurts have more accurate passes that enable YAC. Not sure I’ve ever not wanted any QB to improve in this area. He likes and is most comfortable with the boundary throws. He doesn’t have the stereo prototypical ideal height for a QB. So he can see these around the massive tall Oline he played behind. Seen him improve his accuracy from his first foray of games year one to year two. Saw him improve noticing and utilizing his TE. More of a middle of the field player. That happened during his first season starting. Don’t think his WRs were great. Two young guys learning on the job with a dead weight starter. So reading them being covered and running is a very viable option and read in itself. Now we added a physical quality WR to that room that has gained an extra year of experience. QB went to a quality throwing coach to improve. Think all these factors will return an improved passing effort. I think Hurts is overall pretty good at the mental aspects here. Him and Siri are both learning some here I think. But they are on the same page. I need to Hurts to square his shoulders better and that will improve some of his bad throws I noticed. Overall I’m not ever expecting him to look or play like Marino. He has to be him. Looking off the S/LB(manipulate any defender)is another teachable tool I think Hurts needs to add.

Our sack numbers went down drastically from the season before with your boy Wentz.

Early on with Jalen Reagor as a starter the QB held the ball because the receiver was covered….hmmm

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2021/passing_advanced.htm    Air yards-21st. That number needs to be in the 4000's this year. We gave him the best tools this team has ever had(as a whole). He needs 3 min reads(4 is preferable using the TE as your outlet)

LOL yeah forget our O line was beat up HAHAHA. Hurts was forced to run, Wentz is not running QB. No real mystery here

FL, three reads in three seconds? Like I said, first you have the presnap reads. Then posts snap reads. Does every WR running every route have only one second here? Not every play is equal to asking a QB do the same things.

So your point is Hurts got sacked a lot? Clearly not sack fumbled like your boy. You’ll have to show me the numbers and stats you’re referring to here.

I think one thing Hurts did, that your boy epically failed at, is sometimes throw the ball away. Just get rid of it without throwing an interception.

Sure,if you want to go to a SB you need to have it. And BTW another thing Hurts needs to do is STOP staring down receivers. he is PITIFUL at that

Bad throw percentage 31st. Your boy Carson is 7th. Big arm though. These are top notch numbers by Hurts.

No they have 3 seconds,by then the QB needs to know which WR is the best percentage throw. If after 3 secs you see none of them, you look to your TE or RB to make the gain(this requires 3 reads in 3 seconds, even 4 because we have a good O line)

Converting third downs and Redzone ….the important clutch parts….very good numbers for Hurts….super high rankings.

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2021/passing_advanced.htm  He excels at running the ball. The top teams in this league PASS THE BALL. Not real tough to see

great, but we can't score. First downs don't matter if you can't put the points up

We did pretty good at scoring. Not bad for a new young team that was extremely strapped by the previous years teams. New coach and system. Think they figured some things out. Needed to improve. You can put everything on QB1 if you want. I’d spread some of the negatives around much more.

Nobody is getting to their third postsnap read in three seconds.

Green Bay, Zona and Cincinnati were just slightly ahead of us.

Number one pick Murray. Number one pick Burrow. Two straight MVP ARod. Then Hurts next.

2017 we were the third ranked rushing team. Don’t think I’d dismiss that aspects effect on a game.

Oh boy, here we go again LOL. with the WR's we have NOW provided(you know the top ones Wentz did not have) the time for talk and "getting along" is over. Time to put up the points. How good did Wentz do in 2017? Hurts is not even close to that yet(and may never be). I don't hate Hurts, but this is the year to put up or shut up

He keeps harping on this strong arm stuff. It's not the only basic skill Hurts lacks.  Even though it is one issue.

Eye test .. once the offense goes away from the college Chip Kelly style... read option... bubble screen, short slants with the rub routes...  Hurts struggles.
