But again....if you truly believe all these other things and the QB was the 14th best in the league... there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't be expecting a lot more wins.  No reason at all.

A few questions... being Hurts was the 14th best QB last year.

1.  Who do we play this year that was ranked higher than 14?

2.  What should happen to Hurts now with a full year of starting under his belt?

3.  What impact should the new WRs have,  along with one more year experience for Smith and Watkins?

If you really feel the 14th ranking was legit...  I want to know why you wouldn't expect some serious improvement on that ranking this year with all these factors, plus why it wouldn't mean a lot more team success this year?

It's all set up now...experience,  weapons, OL, running game..etc.    It's all there.   No reason not to expect winning the division, pro bowl and a playoff win at home.    Absolutely zero reason not to have these expectations.... unless one truly just doesn't think the QB is that good.

What did we add to the offense? Drafted a backup C and added a WR. Oh yeah…and Paschal….the blocking WR to take over for JJAW. Basically we just added a legit WR.

So moving Reagor from number two down and elevating Quez wasn’t a factor anywhere? You don’t think that was wise and helped? It was just all opponent? Doubt you saw the problems Rosie not getting Ertz out of here last year caused. So you wouldn’t get how things improved by finally trading him and extending Goedert.

Wow….you went from a team that totally stinks to adding AJ and now we’re the best. Do extremes much?

So it's not a huge upgrade?  Paschal was the #2 WR last year, you didn't give that as an excuse for that QB.  He comes in as a legit experienced starter...which you wanted to add experience to the WR room.    Plus replacing all of Reagor's snaps with Brown... you don't find that significant?

I thought " you prefer the impact of the star player"???

Let's also not downplay the factor of Hurts, Smith and Watkins having a full year more of experience.

What's the deal?   You losing confidence in your boy?

You are making my case here...  you showed that players matter.

Yet I keep asking you... you believe all these other things were legit.   So why not have high expectations for this year?

Sure. No other options. Sure has nothing to do with having a bad WR room setup, Oline not pass blocking well….on and on. This is a very uneducated response. The best QBs need a running game to balance things. Too much football knowledge to have to explain to you here. But sure. Just force your first time starter to throw throw throw ….what could go wrong? I’m sure Reagor comes down with every pass….geeez

Uneducated is calling Hurts a top QB when he is mediocre at best.I believe you are the one lacking football knowledge because you constantly do no understand how things work as to what is expected of a QB. We know you pray to your Hurts memorial at the foot of your bed before sleep each night

I’m just staying steady and the same. No doubt another year of experience is huge for Hurts, Dickerson, Gainwell, Quez and Smitty. Part you always leave out is the coaches. Think it’s very important for them.

I do have high expectations. I want to win the division.

Again.... so you keep giving reasons to why the Eagles should win a lot more games ... why aren't you predicting that this year?

I see how you…..and most everybody can only see one way of winning football games….by having the top QB.

Goedert didn't fill in well for Ertz????

If you have the rest built doesn't that help win SB's???? haven't we been re-building this team the last 2 years? And if this team doesn't perform WHO's fault will that be??? I'm going to stick my neck out and say it's not Kelce

When predicting a win total it starts week one. We have and easy opponent. Lions. But to me week one is a crap shoot. Anybody can win or lose week one. Stomped the Falcons last year. If we lose week one this year it will be significant. Rather have a more challenging opponent week one. Lions you always chalk up as a win. Week one it couldn’t be less certain though.

But we have a top QB.  Dude was ranked 14th with all those problems last year...  now after the coaches had their epiphanies... adding his best friend/ top level WR...  all that experience added.... why is isn't the assumption that he would end up  being a top QB this year?

How many SB did Marino win? Leagues most dominant QB(ARod)has won how many SB?

Ham, Adding a #1 WR to any team is significant. One other thing to consider is that the O-Line now has a full year under their belt. The Pass Protection should be much better than the first half the season in 2021. Add to that, we have upgraded on every level on the Defense. That translates to more possessions for the offense, so better stats, right?

With the worse defense in the league! Our defense should be a top 10 this year. HUGE difference!

This is comedy Gold... gold Jerry!

So the whole thing comes down to week 1 and we are at a disadvantage playing the Lions??    Gold I tell you Jerry!!!    Pure Gold!

*Football knowledge for Ham- Wentz vs Hurts(only counting Wentz time in Pihlly)    I will take their stats and break them down into yearly. ready???? This is per year average TD's Wentz 27.6 per year,Hurts-11 per year   Record(per year average) Wentz- 7W-6.4 L  Hurts 4.5W-5L   Passing percentages- Wentz 62.7%,Hurts 61.3% Any questions?????

I'm seeing all the excuses for Hurts already.   Sad.    It's just sad that a true fan and believer in Hurts doesn't have the excitement for this team and expect great things with all the additions and looking at the favorable schedule.
