Too early though.  No need at least until the late 2nd round pick.

Well the top guy is far and away the best. Gibbs at 31 would be ok,it kind falls off after that talent wise. Then again pro scouts are privvy to things I can't see,so maybe there is a later one. If anyone wants a good QB,my boy Hooker should be there in round 2

Shady was a top flight RB.

Did we win a SB with him? How good was he after he was traded?  I didn't check his stats. Suffice to say Howie won't pay big money at the position. yes he was good but Howie is not paying

No. That being said I still think RB is not the  spot to be tying up a lot of dough; agreeing with the point. Wiser to spend elsewhere.

Shady was still darn good though.

At any rate SB bound baby!!!!!! We find ways to win and I think this was a better defense we faced than KC has

No argument from me there

Sanders=Shady as far as "will Howie pay?" I have to say NO. He will want the big loot and he may get it,but not here IMO

We have all off season for that. I'm happy we got this far with few injuries. I was hoping to beat the 9ers at full strength, but a win is a win as ugly as it was. We are 1 game away from the Lombardi!!!!  WOOOOOOOO!!!

Don't need the best at the RB position.   Shady never won a playoff game until he was on the field with Tampa.

KC should have a better offense though.    We need our QB to step up this game.    He did well all year... probably was nervous facing the better team.. but this is opportunity for him.   I would assume we will be underdogs?  Pressure will be on KC...coach and QB.  Our guys should come in with nothing to lose.

But..  we ran on SF.... you would think we can on KC.   Man what an opportunity here.

Dude... 3 teams for Philly I'm the finals this year....with the Sixers still to take a shot at it...  1980 all over again here... now we just need to win at least one of them like the Phillies did then.

Any word on Dickerson?

I’m going to stop you right there. As nicely as I can disagree. I really want to blast you for saying and comparing him to Hurts. The MVP that refuses to lose and will find a way to get us there. Has every imaginable leadership quality. Alright I’m going to stop….because you know I was just getting started. Please redact that statement and say Fields could possibly be a franchise QB. Dang that really ticked me off. Are you that high on Fields? Hurts has just flat out done everything. Never seen a guy with everything Hurts brings. Not saying he’s Superman or a God. But are you not seeing all this. The guy is an incredible leader. Competitor. Decision making…ok whatever. I’m just going to say I’m the nicest possible way that was the biggest slam on Hurts and disrespectful to what I’m seeing as our best QB we’ve ever had. Fields? Really? Anyway…I hope you understand I took it real easy on you here. That’s as light as I can go. Hurts is the man! MVP baby. Going after a SB for us. Dang Cook , Fields. That was so offensive and disrespectful. I’d really like to break down Hurts qualities again for you. That makes this post look minor. Anyway…dang…hard to stop…I’m trying but …Fields is like Hurts? Nobody like Hurts ever happened before. Fields is like a minor league version trying to hopefully step up to the majors. Dang….not sure I can actually stop responding here. Only way I can finish..is just saying terrible post.

Dude. Whoa. I just said same STYLE of player. QB that can run and force a defense to play 11 man football. Calm down. Im not trading Hurts for Fields. I don’t even like Fields. So don’t get so butt hurt. I love Hurts at this point. Geez!

And yes I really like Gainwell. I haven’t ran out to buy his jersey, but I like the young player a lot.

He's having himself one hell of a play off run isn't he! Wow wow wow he's running hard, he's elusive and yeah he's making a difference when he's in the game.

Sometimes players will play for less to be with a winner. We've seen that happen before. Hopefully Jurgens can take Kelces spot(I have no clue if he retires because he's been retiring for 5 years). I would probably draft a CB even if Slay stays,I would try to hang on to the other 2 if we can

Certain guys. Guys that just ending their rookie deals…it’s hard to pass up your first payday. Once you get those millions established..hopefully make good investments(like Picture in Picture cheerleader cam) you can afford to take a little less. But it’s crazy money these guys make. So those guys aren’t hurting by taking a few mil less. I’d go for the few millions right now myself. In the doghouse. But survivable it’s hopefully seems. She passed at my spending last night. So I gotta just do extra ways to make up the money real quick. And you know what…gladly. I’ll work a weekend or a few nights for that kind of day anytime. You don’t just get moments like that in life. I’m crazy with the extremes I’m capable of though. But she was fine with the four boob body shot. But I was drunk and described it as beautiful. Never do that. The ass smack I should have left out. That’s the part that getting me pretty tough. It felt right at the moment but not something a loyal married guy should be doing in a bar. And it wasnt just once. …,.it felt natural and right in the moment. But a dope way to enjoy myself  there. Getting the cowboys guy screaming our fight song….priceless. Hoping I get the video this girl took. But obviously wasn’t dumb enough to exchange numbers. It will be posted for all hereto realize…we are clearly right being Eagles fans. Can’t imagine being one of those others. Terrible! Anyway! Lesson learned..and shared for anybody else’s to use my hard learned lesson to not repeat.

This was the matchup i'd hoped for. Not because i think the Chiefs are easier to beat but because this should be a fun SB to watch.

Which will make the win even sweeter.

They just showed a pic of Kelces' mom wearing a jersey with the center KC, sides and sleeves Eagles

All I could find was Dickerson had his left elbow in a brace

Good recovery.

2 weeks to get healthy and 2 weeks for Hurts to get his act together. He really did not look good, Chris Jones is a beast.

The KC linebackers are really good and they have Jones.

Other than that their D relys on blitz packages. They aren't all that good.

I'm sure AR knows how good our OL is and how well Hurts deals w/ blitzes. Going to be interesting

I think the super bowl revolves around one thing.......containing mahomes.  He can throw from anywhere, he can improvise, he can find the open man, he can hit anybody, anywhere on the field.

His receivers are average, except for Kelce who is the best TE in football, but they don't need to be anything more with Mahomes arm.

The defensive line needs one more monster game.  Contain mahomes, hit him as much as possible, sacks, pressures.  In my opinion, he is the hardest QB ever to defend against.

The Eagles are going to score alot, but containing Mahomes is the key to winning this game.

The eagles need to dominate on the ground,....control the ball, keep mahomes on the bench as much as possible.

Yeah...we need more than defense and running game to win vs KC.   But I think this should be easier for Hurts.  Really the pressure was on him vs SF, home field vs Mr. Irrelevant.   Vs Mahomes he wouldn't be considered the better QB, with lower expectations he should relax.

Umm jerruh - there was a reason McCarthy gave up play calling in GB. Maybe I shouldn't tell him that

Does anyone buy conference champion T's? I haven't rooted all season for a T. SB win and I get the nicest embroidered sweatshirt I can buy.

There's alot to cover here. Maybe slow down because I don't really understand this one(LOL). Nah that's the part you don't get. When you are a fan you are a fan win or lose,I mean if you are a LOYAL fan. Your team and therefore you as a fan will have peaks and valleys. if my team gets eliminated from a playoff,I am still a fan of the team, however I can still have fun rooting for another team or a friends team(daughter is a Pats fan). So say we lost, but the Panthers got in. I would still be an Eagles fan,yet my "fan season" is over,so I would have NP buying a T shirt for the Panthers and rooting for them to win with other Panther fans. Their season would still be alive. It doesn't make me any less of an Eagles fan, because when that season is over,I will start as an Eagles fan again, as I have been since 1971, and hope we do what we did this year. I have friends that are Dullaz fans. We hate each others respective teams, but we are still friends. It stops at sports and doesn't carry over into the rest of our friendship(perhaps if we applied this to politics the world would be a better place). When we last played the SB,my Pats fan daughter flew from NC to my Eagles nest in FL.Her flight was delayed, then they tried to boot her and she fought them hard to get there. She didn't arrive at the nest until the end of the first 1/4. We sat side by side while I pulled for the Eagles and her along with other Pats fans at the venue rooted for the Pats. Noone got in fights,we bought each other beers and enjoyed the fact both our teams made it there. Mutual respect!!! The guy screaming our fight song will be a Dullaz fan again after the SB if he is a true fan(although some CAN be converted lol). Meantime he can take up our cause because "his" team is already out,so why not have some more fun??? If Dullaz had made it and we didn't,I would root for the opponent because I would,be a temporary fan-TEMPORARY. I doesn't mean I "converted",it means "my" team is out of the running, yet there are games yet to play. This is why politics should never have been allowed to invade sports arenas. My ex son in law is a HUGE Suns fan. When they made the playffos one year I flew out, bought us all tickets and THAT DAY I was a SUNS fan(Technically I am a  Heat fan). The fact the Heat were out didn't stop me from living,I enjoyed being a Suns fan with my son in law and his wife. Didn't "convert" me one bit. 1980 was the only good Browns season when they were the "Kardiac Kids" and Brian Sipe was the QB. I rooted for them, even being an Eagles fan. As Joe said, sports should be a getaway from the other BS we face daily,so if your team goes out, pick up another teams cause, because it's FUN to continue to root for ANYONE. And so it should be in life, I will enjoy every moment of happiness I can latch on to,because life will kick your arse if you don't. As of now,as an Eagles fan, that makes it even better getting to the big dance. So the happiness is multiplied. On game day,my daughter will be an Eagles fan. After the SB she will be a Pats fan again, but we will enjoy watching the Eagles. Sorry for the essay, but may this will help you Ham. I would be sad if we hadn't made it,but I would pull for another team in a heartbeat in the SB if we weren't in because simply,it's something to believe in and lord knows we all need that even if it's for a few hours at a bar with friends. I hope everyone else feels as I do,maybe they do,maybe not,but that is me and most people I know. Rant over
