Btw... I'm more than ok adding in a cheap vet or day 3 RB..  I'm not obsessing about it.  It's not fantasy football.   We have been in good hands on key plays with Gainwell and Scott the last 2 years.   They can get a combined 5 more carries per game.  The other early down RB I don't think will be a problem.  Penny actually could easily be an upgrade over Sanders.   

But idk...will he play...he could turn into lane who was going to get suspended for a 3rd time because he was a roid user???right?   

I mean there is no chance at all Penny won't stay healthy here?? 

Like I’ve said, i think my boy Tyjai Soears early day three walks in as a starter with this group….after Penny trips in the cafeteria.

You’re the one twisting. I didn’t say RB was most important position. Said I wouldn’t take one top ten even. Just said we need one though. You twisting into Chubb and Taylor teams can’t win. They are just one part. I didn’t say the biggest part. Never went there that you are trying to twist like I’m saying. I’m pointing out how we are a physical rushing team. Several downgraded in that area. Why? Let’s do the other way and upgrade it! Obvious results will follow. SB No Rb really sucked. Hurts had to carry too much of the load. 

One thing I find in common with fans who obsess over the RB.  They love their college football.   Where these RBs really shine and promote the game.

Besides...I don't view us as a physical rushing team... I see us as a team with one of the better passing games.  Want to make it better especially when paying the QB.  Hurts has opportunity McNabb and Wentz didn’t have. He can have an elite group of receiving weapons across the board ...locked in long term.... prior to getting paid.   I want to give him that.    The run game is fine.   Look at 2017...Sproles and Smallwood were only 2 RBs after the draft.   If we need to add, we can do it later.  Dime a dozen position.

Gainwell came in the fourth quarter on a beaten quiting Giants team with no run D. That’s all he did really. Claim to fame….fourth quarter blowout finisher…one game. Whoa! Where was he any other time but the blowout against the terrible run D in the last quarter?

Sanders sucked at the end.   We did our best offensively with Gainwell and friends.  Penny was added.  Sermon is here....if they feel the need to upgrade they will.   

We clearly were missing our RB. Our RBBC or whatever you want to call the lack of plays from that position group. Sanders dominated the rest of the year.

So again... last season CGJ, Epps and Blankenship... you feel that was neglected and a weakness for our 2022 team?

Like compared to 31 other teams it was weak?

I keep saying we all can see how upgrading the fourth receiving option improves us. Easy to do. Put on Ward. Better pass catching already. Now the RB room is lead by a Ward caliber player. Let’s fix that.
