If Sirianni is the next Bill Walsh, then his next team is going to be extremely happy. As we all know, the lemmings in Philly will listen to the negativity in the media, not give him a chance, and run him out of town regardless. This is Year 1 of a rebuild.

Bill Walsh was, and is my favorite NON-Eagles HC. Walsh was a truly impressive blend of leadership, accountability and innovation. Yes he invented the WCO back in Ohio, but there was a lot more to it than that. He set the bar for acceptable performance extremely high, and highest of all for himself. He also was an incredible judge of player and coaching talent. He was, IMO, the total package at HC. If Sirianni can follow in his footsteps, greatness will ensue. I hope for that greatness.

On the coaching tree Siranni is a direct descendant of Bill Walsh from the Paul Brown line - Walsh's mentor and the father of modern football.

Pretty good pedigree.
