And I hate to say it, but as much as Reagor has been a huge disappointment, I'm not sure what booing him every time is name is called to return a punt achieves. He's just a kid and we should be hoping he turns into a semi-productive player.

Agreed, I'm sure it gets exhausting dealing with negativity all the time. I get people being pissed that he isn't playing up to where he was drafted but, give it a break once in awhile.

It is one thing to bash Howie on a discussion board for picking him and just sucking at drafting in general, but another to be booing the player even if he does stink.  Howie is the one that should be on the receiving end of the wrath ... not Reagor.  He can't help that Howie decided to take a far lesser player when there were better options.  Reagor should start wearing a shirt that says "F Howie" on it.

Every player thinks they should be a 1st rounder. They wouldn't be in the NFL if they weren't talented and competitive. Not all end up having the same drive though. It would also be a negative to Reagor that he hasn't been able to live up to his draft position and he wouldn't want to shift that blame to Howie. Any player in Reagor's position just wants to prove that they are great.

AFTER he's on another team. Of course if he wears a shirt like that he'll be on another team soon enough.

Well I already hate him so that wouldn’t be saying much. Such a smug ****.

That's my point.  We have always had a faction of the fanbase that bashed our QB for this or that.

I’ve only bashed our qb’s once their contributions/body of work to the eagles are completed. And I put a lot of weight into their leadership skills and ability to help create a healthy cohesive offense with player/coach chemistry.  If you fall short in leadership your stats aren’t going  overcome that.

I supported mcnabb and he was my favorite eagles qb for a time.  I also supported wentz even when people around me had already pointed out his flaws (which I was ignoring).

But both those guys didn’t grade well in the leadership dept for me.  Where as a guy like Vick (granted he was on his last chance to play in the nfl) showed great leadership during his stint with the eagles(not so much with the falcons I guess but that doesn’t count for me)

Vick seemed genuinely remorseful after he did his time.   He was  humble and mature, but I can never forgive him for the horrible things he did.   Can't root for someone like that.

I get that.  I forgave him.  And was happy to see him get his life together and do the right thing as it relates to serving his time with dignity and trying to make a positive difference in regards to animal cruelty awareness and education.

there is something to be said about someone who takes advantage of their second chance(s) in life because it’s not as common as one might think

Wentz off the Covid list. Needs a doctor to approve him for Sunday.

I didn't want to get into a pissing match with a bunch of babies on here......the Eagles as a franchise have been looking for a Franchise QB for decades and had him.  The Eagles butchered this so badly everyone should be fired.  I'm not saying Wentz is/was Joe Montana.  I'm not saying he didn't have flaws or warts.  But the Eagles baby'd him.  The Eagles extended him.  The Eagles then drafted a QB instead of additional help for him.  Then the Eagles pinned their failures on him.  Without Wentz, the Eagles don't win that Super Bowl, my fear is without Wentz, we don't sniff another one for a looooooong time.  The Eagles didn't need to be a QB factory....what a moronic statement.  The Eagles just needed to be a contending football team.  And they absolutely could have been with Wentz and putting better pieces around him.  Oh...and not having 30 guys including 4 out of 5 offensive lineman on IR.

Those 3 x 1st round picks must go for upgrading the Defense... Hopefully Colts will lose both of the remaining games and are out of the playoffs, along with the Dolphins...

What an in depth answer you got there. People will take you real serious with that.

This is my point of view. We gave up a QB for half of his worth over a weak season.  If green bay did that to Brett Favre, they would of looked foolish. If the Giants did so with Manning, they'd have two less rings..big Ben, etc. An organization so willing to move off from a guy who can go 25+ tds with less than 8 interceptions with elite arm talent for a guy who's ceiling is right above his head is beyond me. There is a bit to like about Hurts as a person and leader, but he's nothing to write home about on the field. His numbers look below average, his decision making looks even worse with coach tape, and anyone who brings up Taylor as a reason to dismiss Wentz success, then completely dismiss Hurts as well because we have the number one rushing team in the NFL with an elite elite line.
