If Sirianni has any brains, he should copy what Smith does with Patterson and try to build up Reagor's confidence again and see if he can become a versatile contributor to the offense. Reagor had a terrible game..no doubt......and the most obvious. But the whole offense sucked on sunday. But if you had any clue to what was going to happen this year, it's not unexpected. They're a young offense with a first year coach......they're going to be inconsistent, they're going to make a load of mistakes, they're going to piss away game they shouldn't and they could win some games they shouldn't. Reagor could either run the ball or suddenly run a WR route. The possibilities are endless here. On a serious note though... I don't think it is a bad shout in terms of what he's meant to be able to do. He's meant to be fast, he's meant to be powerful so the logic is there. He will fail the skills test in games. I also don't know if he's durable enough to be a RB. It's the most injured position in football. Valid points and that’s why I feel like this would have to be a last hope to try and fix his career move. Also this wouldn’t be a case of giving this kid 20 carries a game or anything like that. He would have to take some time to develop and I think he would need to bulk up about ten pounds at least which doesn’t seem to be a problem considering he went to the combine and came into camp this year heavier than he was supposed to be. The main issue here to me is does Reagor have the work ethic to be willing to effectively make the change and if I’m honest I would say no. People keep crying for this one or that one to be cut, well Howie will just replace the guy with more of the same so what’s the point? I mean this team that’s obsessed with passing the football drafted a quarterback who is better running with the ball than throwing it, developed a mauling run block left tackle, and drafted a guard who is a far better run blocker than pass blocker.
