Love Kolar in the 5th. Him, Cole Turner and Derrick Deese Nutz are my TE targets on day 3.

That stinks

This is me, I'll say it this way, Qb's who rely on their athletic ability (running) rarely develop into great NFL QB's.  They never had to learn to read defenses post snap, because when it breaks down, they just bail and try to make it work with their athleticism. This makes great highlights, but doesn't translate well into winning Championships. When the majority of SB's are won by running QB's that when I will want one.

Tell it to Steve Young, Allen, etc.

Sorry if already mentioned, Daniel Jeremiah dropped a mock today.

Has us taking Wyatt, Lloyd, and Mafe in first round.

The real kicker in this mock was Hamilton fell to WAS at 11. If Hamilton falls to #10, I’d really hope Eagles would trade up 5 spots for him.

I'd take that trio. But I think with the Lloyd pick I'd rather trade back and hopefully grab another 2nd, and get the LB/S combination in round 2. There will be good linebackers still available.

More TEs and more running!

OT, but funny.

I like them both. Wydermyer, Otton and Deese also look good. But fix the damn defense first.

Cmon man, now you’re not even trying. You used 2 players going back what….40 years now? You proved his point for him

speaking of TEs

I’m a fan of Lucas Krull , I was surprised he didn’t get combine invite .

I'd rather double dip at TE late in the draft than invest a pick in the first 4 rounds.

Definitely didn’t need to hear "expand their 12-personnel package” anytime this soon

We do not need to double dip on RB or S, unless Hamilton falls into our laps early. Otherwise you have Kary Vincent who should be a S IMO, Epps and a Cine/Pitre/Cross/Joseph/McKinley rookie along with Harris, Chachere and Wallace. We also need a better CB than Cam. I’m a fan of Wyatt for sure though.

Taylor-Britt is just slept on because there arent a lot of youtube highlights and draft websites dont talk about him.

He has elite speed, ok size, and starting experience at CB and S

Despite being pretty well down the list on TDN rankings, his player comparison there is James Bradberry.

Steve Young ran 722 times over his career compared to 4,149 passes.  That's a 17.4% ratio.  Even in college Steve Young was under 30%

Hurts was well over 30% for much of last season.  Guys like Willis and Corral have very little chance of magically becoming proficient passing from the pocket in the NFL

Never understood what was holding him down on the rankings.

Interestingly, player comp on TDN is Dallas Goedert. Wouldnt be surprising that the eagles like him in that case. May be a very accurate comp.

I like Cam. Just would rather invest in the talents in R1-2 like Stingley, Booth, McDuffie, Gordon, McCreary.

I dont really buy in to all of them. You know some of them arent going to work out.

Gardner and Booth seem like blue chippers. Stingley is major boom or bust. Despite draft site rankings, Elam seems to be the next best. McCreary is tiny and you have to hope he is really the rare Jason Varrett without injuries who can succeed while being small at the position. Not a 1st. McDuffie and Gordon are 2nd round talents. Probably so is Taylor-Britt.

I could see taking a CB instead of Ebiketie, but then DE not until the 3rd really begins to feel like a massive failure.

McDuffie is a R1 talent. He might be the surest bet at CB in this draft other than Sauce. Don’t let the pac-10 bias cloud you. Lol.

I think if they can pull off J Johnson/Wyatt/Booth (if they don't move picks) I'll drop dead on my couch.

I might fall over if its just Johnson and Wyatt.

That relationship will never last.  The couple that farts together stays together.

hes 5'11'' with short arms. He would have to actually be the absolute best CB in the draft by far to be selected in round 1 with those measurables.

I dont think so.

And a little pac-10 bias has to factor in because despite his tape you gotta consider the competition.

knock for lack of length. Knock pac10
