Pulling for them to win the afc west. He’s fun to watch and that defense should be much better.

He's got some nice receivers now. The HC needs to not be an idiot with his playcalling though. He was getting too cocky last season

Biggest concern with them is HC tbh. It feels like it’s always the issue for the chargers.

Would love for them to take Ridder.

Really close to what?  Making the playoffs?  Sure.

I would gladly take Herbert off their hands 😍

I'm going to say he doesn't. He'll miss Watkins running wide open and roll to his right instead.

Hurts doesn't usually step up at all, just rolls out.

"As long as the offense is 8 to 10 is all that matters. Who cares is at the point Hurts is throwing ducks or is late" is one of the most simpleton takes I've seen on here. Yea, lets diminish a top 3 offense to top 8 to 10 because of the QB holding them back. Great strategy to "just win baby".

It's amazing listening to WIP the last two days about how wildly overrated DK Metcalf is

He lit up the Eagles' pathetic secondary, so he must be a super stud.

Wyatt and Booth in the first round. Are we happy?

Wouldn't be the first choices on my board, but yeah.

Retirees have it easy.  Can grab a nap before the game.... grab a nap during the game... and then grab a nap after the game.

I love nap time!

Funny that you say we can grab a nap. My employer was international and based in Switzerland.  My bosses loved putting me on international committees and about a dozen years or so, they put me on an advisory committee to weigh ideas on workspaces.  One suggestion a Chinese member and I suggested was nap stations.  I know they experimented with them in Spain and with, for lack of a better term, desk tents in Japan.  Everything I read suggested that afternoon short naps make people more productive. But as a retiree, I still don’t take naps.

(I also cosponsored standing desks, now the norm in the US and Canada with sit/stand desks. (I have one in my home office.). I also suggested treadmill desks but that never took.

Are there still going to be 7 teams in the playoffs?  Seems probable the Eagles grab that slot again.  NFC is extremely weak right now.  Two, maybe three teams competing for a title and the rest are just a bunch of JAGs.  AFC is monstrous.   I could see any of 6 teams potentially getting into the Super Bowl if they get hot at the right time... and another 6 that are likely battling for that last playoff spot (with winning records).   Overall, the AFC's records may not look that much better, because they will be beating each other up.  But, I think the AFC-NFC matchup record will be lopsided towards the AFC by at least 10 games.

There you go.  Basically with an awful D, a DC a bunch were begging to leave for a HC job, the worst QB in the league JAGs at RB etc., yet a top half of the league finisher (apparently along with the Saints).  You and I agree on a lot but I really don’t see this as a top 7 conference team, even in the NFC

Considering that last year, they just had to be better than us, playoffs is a really low bar.

I was concerned when ESP said he liked the trade.  Really concerned.  He’s now flipped his position and he hates the trade.  So….I feel better now.  He’s going scorched earth on radio right now.  Fing moron.

Jalen Hurts fanbois are finally seeing the writing on the wall and not taking it well

Wouldn't be shocked if Howie tried to move up for either if it didn't cost a 1st

I disagree... they aren't top half of the league, and likely not top 7 in the conference in terms of power rankings.  But I think the odds are better than 50/50 they are #7 due to the weak schedule they have... again.

Depending on the trade chart, #15 + 101 is enough to get to #10. If Thibodeaux falls, he's the type of player that Howie likes (fast, undersized, Pac-12). Only knock is "character" and motor which is very anti-Eagle/Raven.

Using #101 from the Saints, which we got for #16 (originally from the Colts), along with #15 (from the Dolphins) to get a top-ten talent would be poetic.

Basically our original #6 in 2021 + Wentz ==> Devonta, Thib (or whomever), a first in 2023, and a second in 2024.
