Our rookie QB next year will have the best O-Line in the NFL. Two stud WRs, a stud TE, and complimentary weapons like Quez and Gainwell.

The Chiefs traded a 3 and a 4 to move up and take McDuffie. I love McDuffie, but man.

So with us paying A.J., do we think there is a pretty active plan to draft a QB next year to control costs for more time? That way the bets are hedged. If Hurts is great this year with the weapons he has, then awesome, but if not we are set to have multiple years with a cheap QB.

Hurts sucks this season, QB will be addressed next year. I'm not worried. Next years qb class will ish on this year's

It will be all season like it or not.  We are still an 8ish win team with either of them.

My complaint is more we are FORCED to do this move because of how much of a complete failure Howie has been drafting a WR. In 3 years we spent 3 firsts, a second, and a third. And we only have 2 quality guys.

DB is probably the most important thing to address next. Should be plenty of options at 51

F it...just trade the rest of the draft and get up to pick him and Howie can go play golf like Iron Mike after drafting  Williams.

Reagor has to be out with the signing of pascal and addition of brown. JJAW is definitely gone. I dont see the eagles keeping either i think reagor you likely get someone willing to take a chance on him for a 5-6 rounder. Also expecting dillard to be dealt at some point.

This is the most valid argument about being against trading for Brown.

well no, cause the biggest need was QB, but I have been told we could rbuild the defnse with all those picks we had, and then drop a QB in next year.? 

AGain I like both Davis and Brown, but wehad 11 picks, we will end up with 5 picks and Brown if we dont trade away Dillard or others for picks.

Now I do think trading for Brown was smart considering just how bad Howie is at drafting WRs. And Brown is a good wr, but with Hurts, you will be wasting him and SMith and Goederts abilities this year. I would have rather we focused on the defense, get that right. Address QB and WR next year, since neither are fully utilized without the other

I think the plan was to get a QB next year regardless of Brown.
