And that defensive secondary is hurting.  Kupp and Beckham and Jefferson are gonna feast in Tampa Bay this weekend.

FYP. Rams may have the best WR corps left in the playoffs.

I think opticallly you would assume that. But I think Daniel Snyder would still be trying to do it would give it up to do so.

The problem that’s gonna come along is I don’t think Deshaun Watson’s gonna drop is no trade clause to go to another dysfunctional organization. he’s coming from one he believes is a dysfunctional organization. Maybe Snyder convinces him by saying he can have a big voice in what they do. Snyder is stupid like that.

If Watson drops his NTC for WFT but not us. I'm signing Hurts to a 10 year 1 billion dollar contract just to burn it all...

Early guesses on QB carousel:

Baker traded to WFT

Watson to Browns

Rodgers to Denver, a la P. Manning, if GB doesn't make it to the Super Bowl

I think they roll with Baker, and if they do target someone it will be a veteran like Wilson or Rodgers, but we'll see.

I think CAR is our main competition still, maybe DEN, but they'd be the favourites to land Rodgers.

The problem with Rogers is I think that situation comes down to what happens with the Green Bay Packers in the postseason. If the Green Bay Packers make the Super Bowl I don’t see Aaron Rodgers asking to be traded. If they win it why would he want to leave a team that he knows he can win a Super Bowl with. He’s not going to and I think the Packers would give him an extension and then look to trade Jordan love sometime down the road.  If the Green Bay Packers come up short of the Super Bowl I think that is where he is going to ask out. Probably because he thinks he can’t get to a Super Bowl with this roster and they avoided making certain moves in the past that probably could’ve helped him get to that Super Bowl.

None of those guys. Fields sucks. Kyler and Dak are overrated.

Fields hasn't had much of a chance yet.  We'll see how he does in year 2 with maybe a good HC.

Dak is really good as long as he has 2-3 all pro WRs to throw to.  Kyler is kinda overrated.  He was better when Hopkins was healthy.

Maybe he'll really really really like the new team name. I know I'm waiting on baited breath for the big reveal.

My SWAG is a tad low to be fair. I'm a 40 year old suburban white dad. But, I don't wear white New Balances yet.

I have never dodged people falling from the sky, but I am a pretty gifted writer and think I could absolutely dominate with follow-up emails.

So absolutely no drip. Pass.

ARod winning the SB and staying could potentially be good for us. I know we had interest in Love during the draft process that year.

I think the only major selling point that Snyder could come with is givinf watson a voice in the moves they are going to make and the decisions they make. I don’t think any other organization would be willing to allow Deshaun Watson to do that. I think Washington is dumb enough to grant him that in hopes to get him to drop his NTC

Honestly, I don't think the results of the season matter at all to Rodgers. He hates the FO and wants out. I think he would relish the chance to go somewhere else and win to show everyone that he made the FO and coaching staff look better than they are.

You have finally found a QB I would prefer Hurts over.

Does anyone think Wilson could take THIS team deep into the playoffs?

And if you have to spend 2 1st rd picks plus on him, how much better will the team be next year? And where will the improvement come from?

We would have been competitive on Sunday with Russel Wilson, no doubt in my mind

This argument is asinine, Id take Russ immediately

Washington Pervs

I think it depends on how the Eagles feel about him now. Because he’s had some game film at the nfl level and his contract only has 2 years with an option year left on it. I watched him in that Kansas City game it was a hard watch. Granted it was Kansas City and it was in Kansas City and it was his first ever start. But at that time Kansas City‘s defense was not playing well and he has weapons on that offence and he’s been in that system for about a year and a half at that point. I expected more than seven points

Anyone worried that Watson might have forgotten how to play QB?

Whoever gets him, wouldn't surprise me if it takes him at least half a season to get back to his level.  Dude sat out an entire year.

I brought this up yesterday.

Admittedly, I haven't watched much of his game tape from when he played this year, but seems intriguing especially since the investment would be minimal and he's on his rookie deal.

The top veterans are not only going to cost us all of our high draft picks, but also take away any cap flexibility to build the team.

Yup he's a stud.

He was a bit erratic in college and to be fair he had crap around him as well, and he just ran around all crazy and tried to make plays but one could see the size and his arm strength to drive the ball and at his size he's really mobile.

I honestly didn't think he'd make it in the pros, I thought he was to erratic and inconsistent  but one could always see he had the tools to succeed if he put it together.

Even if hurts were to somehow put it together mentally he just doesn't have any elite passing traits that convinces one he could be a top QB going forward.

He's short for a QB, he's not getting any taller, he's got a pretty average to below average arm in terms of velocity, and while arm strength can be improved he's not magically going to be elway. He doesn't have a quick release, not is he accurate, and while those can be improved, how much so.

Mentally he's a slow processor and doesn't see the field well, and while those can also be improved how long will it take and will he ever improve to the point where he adequate?

If hurts had a few elite or even above average passing traits then maybe I'd be more willing to give him a shot but he lacks in so many traits that a qb needs to be successful in the NFL and I don't t think he's going to get to the point where he improves those traits enough that he can be the long term answer.

I honestly think the eagles drafted hurts as a backup and when wentz fell apart it messed up the whole plan so they regrouped and tried to sell us hurts as the starter and I think most aren't swallowing what's being fed.

I think Texans fired the HC because Watson wants Flores and they are going to bend over backwards to accommodate whatever wishes he has

Also Adams has been giving the impression that he'll follow Rodgers to wherever he goes

I don’t know I’ve listened to a couple episodes of Packers (the athletic)reporters podcast throughout the season discuss the situation. They felt for the past couple months (since around mid October) that his attitude is kind of changed about staying in Green Bay, apparently he’s actually had discussions with their GM and wanting to stay there. There was also a report that some of this is he wants a massive extension and the Packers are hesitant to give it to him knowing it would likely go into his 40s

Pretty sure he is.  If the Eagles want to have a QB battle between Hurts and Minshew during camp then that would be wiser than blowing assets to bring in a veteran QB or drafting from a weak QB class.

Well, if you go by all the statistics of Quarterbacking... he's not.

What QB stat are you using to measure that Hurts is actually better than Minshew?   Yards?  TD/INT ratio?  Air yards/attempt?  Rating?  QBR?  4th quarter comebacks?  GWDs?

What's your measurement device?

I think Daniel Snyder is dumb enough to believe that Washington is just a quarterback away from being a title contender. So I can see him being stupid just saying whatever he wants to say to try to get Watson to come there.
