Denmark’s Christian Eriksen collapsed before the half, and they suspended the match vs. Finland as a result. Say they got him to the hospital and were able to stabilize him.

Damn, they had to give him CPR on the field.

Reported awake and responsive and undergoing testing at the hospital

Eriksen spoke with this teammates from the hospital and the game has been restarted.

So glad he’s ok. D00de was, for all intents and purposes, dead on the field. That’s the most emotional I’ve been watching a sporting event since the waning moments of Super Bowl LII.

It was quite traumatic

Yeah that was scary as hell. I could not imagine seeing an athlete die on a field/court, etc.... Very glad he is ok.

Damn, I had to use the google to find North Macedonia. LOL.

They are about as bad as the Jags too.

I kind of like them. Would be a bit better with white socks. Or white shorts/teal socks.

I get tired of seeing teams wear all red, all blue, all white, etc...mix up the colors now and then. JMO.

Haha I didn't mean the kits bud. I meant the Jags are a bad team, so are Austria.

Yeah was a good result. Croatia are a decent team, not the team they were 2 years ago but a good team. Mind you there's a greater advantage to not winning the group and finishing second.

Sergio Ramos officially not returning to Madrid.

Best free agent in quite some time. Not sure what team I want him to end up on... seeing him in England would make me puke. PSG would be weird and might screw up a Mbappe deal. Sevilla would be cool but that’s a Hollywood story that won’t happen. Bayern, Juventus, no.

Honestly, it’s the right move by Madrid, but this feels like Dawkins going to Denver for me. Dude should have retired in white.

But you think this means they now sign Varane to a new deal?

Exactly. He'd be closer to the source... 😉

Yeah, I mean there isn't any chance of getting it in Spain, Italy, or the UK

It doesn’t look that way right now. I think we lose both.

He’s still a top 5 defender in the world. He won’t go to China or the US IMO.

Seems right but the big pay day is sometimes quite a tough thing to say no to

PSG or United will give him a big pay day.

FWIW, China isn’t handing out the mega contracts anymore either. They changed their domestic rules because clubs were going broke
