There was some bad D on both sides of the pitch today plus a total howler from Spain's keeper for the opening goal. Still, even in ET you don't see many 5-3 scores. Green_Guinness Posted June 28, 2021 Share Posted June 28, 2021 So on one half of the bracket we have: Belgium v Italy Switzerland v Spain And the other half we have: Denmark v Czech Republic England/Germany v Sweden/Ukraine Seems Italy have played the best of the lot thus far, but it's one match at a time and anything can happen in that one match. I'm not seeing a clear favourite here. Denmark winning would be Cinderella story after what happened to Eriksen the first match. England is sort of like the 76ers here, with a path to the Final if they don't implode, but since '66 they keep imploding. Belgium v Italy is the premiere match 'on paper' for the next round. Oh sorry. I wasn't complaining about France getting knocked out. The pk reference was just an observation. I just hate pks.
