It’s really pathetic how bad the Eagles were in 2020. Unless I’m mistaken, the other 3 teams had new coaches so they had new systems to learn. The Eagles were going into year 5 of Peterson and Wentz. Wentz was just so god awful

Yup, that 2020 team had the advantage of continuity as every other team in the division had new coaches and new systems to learn and the whole organization from top to bottom was just a total dumpster fire that year.

Hopefully Siri and Gannon and Howie are all on the same page and I think it will be helpful that Laurie has said he's going to step back as his previous meddling clearly did more damage than good

Drive in Raleigh more often.  I guarantee you the demographic of the tailgating maniac drivers aren’t watching NASCAR.  As a matter of fact, I never hear about NASCAR down here.

Yeah north of Charlotte I feel like NASCAR isnt that big. Speaking of demographic and Charlotte though, I always thought the Hornets would have a bigger fan base if they were in Raleigh at the PNC. Charlotte does okay with the Panthers and its NASCAR, but there are way more basketball fans in the triangle. People will travel 3 hours for a football game but hardly ever for a NBA game.

But he said he only overextended for Wilson, Lane and Mailata. We should beg him to meddle more! 😁

Has Lurie said he wanted Russell Wilson?

I mean I thought the whole organization including Andy Reid liked him a lot, they just thought they could get him after their 2nd pick but Seattle had different ideas.

Also wasn't aware that Lurie had anything to do with the Mailata or Lane picks.

Lane was a Kelly pick and Mailata was given the green light by Stoutland, not sure how much involvement Lurie had in those picks???

That dude sucked and would be a reason Lurie shouldn't be making personnel decisions.

Before the 2012 NFL draft, then-Eagles head coach Andy Reid identified Russell Wilson as a quarterback he thought had the potential to develop into a great one. And the Eagles thought he’d be available to them in the third round. He wasn’t.

How do I get a years vacation with full pay?

In Kamara's case, beat the hell out of someone and risk jail time.

I hope you're right. Full year suspension with pay works.

Why should he get paid?

That's what I expected from the preview, so I enjoyed it for what it was

Yeah. It was entertaining. I watched it twice.  Sometimes feel like watching it again.

Loved that giulia quadrifoglio

I believe someone on here posted a tweet or article awhile back where a source that said Wilson, lane and mailata was lurie pushing for it.

From a personal standpoint, I hope he doesn't.

From a purely NFL standpoint, if he's on the commissioner's list he would be suspended with pay while they investigate him. As we have the Saints 1st rounder, it would mean that they wouldn't have Kamara while the NFL decides what to do with him.

The system is broken.  If he's found guilty of assault and suspended because of it... he should get zero pay, even if he somehow manages to avoid jail time.

No arguments here. It's not just a player thing. From Kamara to Snyder, they should be in jail.

The ten teams whose rookies and vets are due in at the same time are:

Carolina, Dallas, Denver, Jacksonville, LA Rams, Eagles, 49ers, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Washington.

Proves nothing. Just an informational.

Lurie was the one that said it himself

IF he's found guilty of assault and suspended because of it, he will get zero pay, even if he manages to avoid jail time. But they can't just put him on the list barring him of doing his contractual job and withhold his pay while he's still presumed innocent.

I wanted to say it was him directly but i wasn’t sure. I know someone posted it on here that it was either a source or him who said it.

On top of that he’s going to appeal the decision of (6 game; believe that’s the rumored report) the suspension and potentially see it decrease if he wins that appeal.

Did he mention all the busts and awful picks he pushed for or just the few good ones?

He specifically said there was only 3 times he "cheered harder for than usual" and it was Lane, Mailata and Wilson. One other time they asked his preference about JJAW vs Paris Campbell and he had no opinion.
