I think Hargrave Davis is the most effective for now. Cox is slowly sliding into spot duty, Williams needs reps but like his game, Rotate and keep em fresh and I'd take any of those permutations tho.

I actually think Hargrave-Davis is the most effective as well, but the dropoff from that pairing to Cox-Williams is not insignificant.  I believe a Davis-Cox pairing will bring out the best in Cox, and the pairing of Hargrave-Williams is very interesting to contemplate IMO.

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

Why put new turf in the week of a game? Did it get that badly torn up last week? Seems like something they should have done before preseason started

Apparently they had a soccer team playing on it all summer and a MGK concert last week. Still stupid planning.

Since we have been talking about DT a lot today and yesterday, I thought I would share this clip I just ran into.

Did I read that right? You think the dropoff is enough to concern? Seems all variations work in our favor. Gannon has some real players to work with now, His time to prove it.

That’s a good list. I’ll add one name; Togiai. He had an excellent game against the Jets. He has a chance.

More Tay Gowan and some Kary Vincent at DB.  Chachere at S.

At WR, Noah Cain. Beats suggest he is having a good camp.

Renell Wren at some NT.

Kennedy Brooks with the second string OL.  Torrey at RB in the second half.  No more Huntley.

RS. Reagor.

Opeta and Anderson at G.  Awosika and Sills getting reps at any OL position besides C.

Billion dollar industry that can figure out down and distance technology (delay of game this week because of a broken chain) and field maintenance.

why didn't they ask MGK to aerate the field after he was done?

Time will tell. We've seen them bring back early cuts in the past.  Don't be surprised if it happens.

It looked like Vincent tore his knee up this week although we didn't see any reports.  Watch Vincent get juked, knee buckles and he grabs it.

In a word ... yes.  Because getting the most from Cox is an interesting exercise in downside management.  Getting the most from Williams is an exercise in upside management.

I suspect that when healed they quietly resign him to the PS and spend time conditioning him for the NFL.

They’ll experiment with technology through their partnership with the XFL, I suspect.

Lane Johnson looks lean!

Was excited when they picked him up as an UDFA, then a week later he was cut.

I thought he'd be an ideal backup for Davis at Nose.

Never really got much info on him, like you say I'm guessing he was injured or something or maybe he came into camp way out of shape???

They gave him a pretty big signing bonus if I remember correctly so was surprised they cut him loose so quick

Wouldnt be surprised if he were back like you say on the PS at some point.

If not oh well🤷‍♂️

Most starters to sit today.

TE isnt thin. Not really sure safety is either.

CB is weird. All they do is draft, and sign nickel or nickel/S guys and pay no attention outside CBs. I cant see them trading for anyone there. too expensive and they just need a backup.

They need an RB most of all.

So Cowboys have some legit return specialist that had two TD returns this weekend.  Signed from that USFL league.

Howie did nothing to try to improve our return game.  He had a great offseason but that is one of the few areas he did not address at all.
