I don’t know if that’s what he’s saying but I would say, yes, it’s different for a woman. There are physical changes when a woman bears a child that a man, obviously, does not undergo.

Oh, I agree... but there are those around who would say there's no difference...

Sure if you take 'No Matter what' literally then definitely No.  The Eagles could make the SB scoring no offensive points in the playoffs where the points are all scored on D and they give up 0.  Hurts could play OK but then suffer a serious injury in the SB.  Of course there are scenarios where it's No. BUT it sure seems like people are going out of their way to preempt any success Hurts might have and say in advance it wasn't because of him.  We haven't seen the games yet

Obviously.

But, my point was that 'merely' winning the Super Bowl, by itself doesn't guarantee anything moving forward for the QB... as evidenced by Dilfer.   He's the poster child for that, as he didn't even get to return to his team afterwards.

I'd pair him up with Davis but he'll be long gone by the time we pick. Top 5 like his former teammate Walker

Sounds like you’re only talking about the tiny mushroom in your pants.

Hi all. Back from my normal off-season board hibernation. Played alot of golf, changed careers. How's everyone been! I am ready for the season.

Oregon got the dog ish beat out of em

I've never watched CFB (probably because I've never had access to it) but I just saw there's some on tv here. Georgia/Oregon game is on now. Then I get the Ohio State/Notre Dame game.

Any players I should be looking out for in either game?

If I'm going to be watching CFB regularly, I'll need to pick a team. No idea how. I guess I won't force it and see if it comes to me.

Notre Dame has a tight end (Mayer) and a defensive end (Foskey) that are going to be top prospects. The Irish have been churning out really good tight ends for a couple of decades, and I think this guy is the best one of them all.

College football week one is a let down like usual. The most entertaining game I'm watching is N Dakota and Nebraska. Hopefully Irish and Buckeyes won't be a letdown

Anyone other than Alabama or Ohio State and you're good.

No politics in the blog but I'll probably bring politics into my choice. Certain states are a "hell no" from me, politically :D

I've been a fan since Vermeil and that's equated to one Super Bowl win. So if they actually win a SB with Hurts I honestly don't care if they 'waste' money extending him at that point.  I think people are living in some fantasy land thinking this team is so good that they wouldn't need good QB to win in the playoffs.

Riley at USC has some put together some SEC level speed on Offense.

Defense not so much...

Serious question.  Have you see Hurts throw the ball, in meaningful games?

Yes and I haven't been impressed and if that continues then they won't win meaningful games certainly not 3 in a row.

Ohio State QB - CJ Stroud

Ohio State DE - Zach Harrison

Notre Dame Safety - Brandon Joseph

Uh, what?  WV/Pitt was great.   ECU/NC State was a good.  App State / UNC was a ridiculously fun game.  ODU/VaTech was also good.

None of those were on tv for me. Besides WV. And that was Thursday. And only cared about that because we are moving there. My team plays a cupcake. The hyped Georgia and Oregon game was putrid. Wife enjoyed her terps but that wasnt a really good game either. I wish week one had more big boy matchups.

Virginia Cavaliers have a throwback name to British roots

Cam Hart CB

Jayson Ademoloa  DL

Been told by a bunch of Arizona coaches that WR Jacob cowing is going to be an nfl wr. Good mid round prospect. Played at Utep the previous 3 seasons but they think he’s the best WR Arizona has had since Dennis northcutt and Bobby Wade. So far today had 5 catches for 79 yards and 2 tds at the half.

Sorry about moving to WV.  What town?

Oh we are excited. Property is dirt cheap and my job will let us send our kids to private school. We are moving to White Sulpher Springs. Plus less people. South Delaware has gotten crazy.

Unlikely scenario but if there's any teams with a South African connection, we may be in business.

I’m in Lewes, near Angola, and yes it’s one of the fastest growing counties in the US, (cheap taxes), but the wages are still held down to early 2000’s standards compared to Wilmington which pays like Philly.   I don’t blame you one bit, we don’t have the roads to support the thousands of homes going up.

Nice bro.  You go get a membership at The Greenbrier.  Shouldn’t be expensive at all.

You gotta throw some updates out during the Coastal Game, I have slop on my tv and everything but that game.  I can watch trash like Stroud anytime.
