Wind chill at game time looks to be about 13 degrees.  This one is about going in and taking care of business.  Screw the style points.  Get the W and leave with your health in tact.  Stay focused on the Bears and don't get ahead of yourself.

Hey, I resemble that remark!

Bartending this afternoon/tonight in Baltimore. If the Ravens win my tips will be a lot better.

On the other hand..

If they blow, but it's a close game, people will drink more to cope.

Aim for a close win. They are all the rage these days and you get the benefit of both happy and coping.

You’re inconsistent, Matt. Since you’ve inexplicably argued that it would be better if the Bears win tomorrow — which only matters if the Saints lose all their games, which you’ve assured me they would — then it shouldn’t matter what the Colts do since they already have a better record than New Orleans. Furthermore, we are already two games ahead of the Vikings with the tiebreak, so they shouldn’t matter to us. And it would probably be better if they finish with the second seed and the Niners with the third rather than the other way around.

Still, I will be rooting for the Colts because I want them to remain with a better record than the Saints. Unlike you, I’m still fearful that the Saints are going to make a late season run. After the fiasco last year with the Dolphins, I think that fear is justified.

As i start thinking about playoffs i think thr best way teams can slow our offense is with a cover 3. Hurts likes to throw deep outside so want the corners going to the deep third. This puts a zone underneath where they dont have tonturn their back on hurts and limit runs. Mush rush and force him to stay in the pocket.

now what teams can effectively play that scheme is what i am watching for in kc, buff, cincy dallas minny

@LeanMeanGMEagles 20 bears 10

Bonus: fields over 120 rushing past tj Edwards

Gonna make a bold prediction. If the Jags beat Dallas tomorrow, the Jags will go on to win the division. They're hot, the Titans are reeling, and if you look at the schedules, it's very doable for them.

I understand your confusion.  I worded the statement as "Vikings lose …” rather than "Colts defeat …” on purpose.  I want the Vikings to go 0-4 and the Lions to go 4-0 in the coming games.  It is unlikely, but desired.  The win on the Colts’ ledger is a biproduct rather than a primary product.

The fear you have articulated is absolutely justified.  We will know more about that on Sunday after the final gun sounds in the Falcons-Saints game.

Since week 8 Hurts has a passer rating around 117

Since week 8 QBs vs Chicago have a passer rating around 116.

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles 38 Bears 17

Eagles roll for 170+ rushing and 400+ total yards.

Lol go Colts. Apparently Kirk can't play on Saturdays either.

Vikings look good

A very ugly start to this one :roll:
