October 17, 20223 yr Vegas and Detroit can’t possibly stay that bad all year, right! Too much offensive talent. As long as NO ends up top 10 I’ll be thrilled.
October 18, 20223 yr Chargers win...Cleveland's strength of schedule improves...the Saints pick moves back to #5. Rooting strategy....it's not very likely that the Panthers get to a better record than the Saints'...so it's best that they have a horrible record that weakens the Saints' SOS...a weaker SOS moves the Saints' pick up, as it's the first tie breaker. Root against the Panthers (not that hard).

October 18, 20223 yr Author Between the Saints loss to the Bengals and some help from the Steelers, Commanders, and Falcons, we now hold the 5th overall pick (from NO) and our own slotted at 31. Post 1 updated. Rooting interest next week: Cardinals over Saints Lions over Cowboys (I'd be rooting for that even if it hurt that pick from NO ) And as @Connecticut Eagle pointed out, Bucs over Panthers. The other 2 teams with top 4 picks (Raiders and Texans) play each other.
October 18, 20223 yr Look at the Texans there too; There is a possibility Watson doesn’t have a huge impact on them this year, a la Russell Wilson

October 21, 20223 yr Author NO's next 4 games: vs Raiders vs Ravens @Steelers vs Rams A desperate team going up against 4 desperate teams.
October 25, 20223 yr Author The Saints loss to the Cardinals last Thursday bumped that pick from NO up to 4th overall (while our own is still slotted at 31). Post 1 updated. Rooting interest next week: Raiders over Saints Texans over Titans Panthers over Falcons Lions over Dolphins Browns over Bengals (to give some breathing room)
October 25, 20223 yr @time2rock Looking forward to you starting the OFFICIAL 2024 Saints 2nd Rd Draft Pick Tracker Thread in about ten months. It's a great time to be a Philly fan.

October 26, 20223 yr Author 2 hours ago, NOTW said: The Seahawks fans probably have a similar tracker of Denver's top 10 pick. And Houston fans of Cleveland's 1st rd pick. Plus Miami of SF's pick (especially since Miami's own pick was forfeited).
October 30, 20223 yr Like last year when we had three top 10 picks around this time, this pick was bound to slip and will likely be somewhere between 10-15 by the end of the season, but it was fun to dream. At least the Powerball has a $ bn payout: https://www.cnn.com/2022/10/30/us/powerball-jackpot-no-winner-saturday-one-billion/index.html
October 31, 20223 yr Author That pick from NO can bump up from 9 to 8 if the Browns beat the Bengals tonight. Also, the Raiders suck!
November 1, 20223 yr Author Cleveland did us a favor last night by taking care of business against Cincinnati - their win bumped them down to 9 and in turn the pick from NO up to 8 (post #1 updated). Oh yeah, and the Raiders still suck! Let's hope the Ravens take care of business this week and hand NO another L. Also need Brady and the Bucs to get their groove back and beat LA. The Steelers can't help as they are on a bye this upcoming weekend. The Jags play the Raiders - a Jags win would move them past NO (with a Saints loss). With a win by the Ravens, Jags, and Bucs that pick should move back to 6 by this time next week. **Fingers crossed**
November 3, 20223 yr Saw on ESPN ticker that Michael Thomas is likely out for the year https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34940869/saints-wr-michael-thomas-needs-toe-surgery-put-ir
November 7, 20223 yr Before SNF. If NO loses tomorrow, the pick will be #6 per Tankathon.com. If they win, #16.
